1Аллилуя! Як виходив Ізраїль з Египту, дім Якова зпоміж людей чужої мови,
1Quand Israël sortit d’Égypte, Quand la maison de Jacob s’éloigna d’un peuple barbare,
2Стала Юдея сьвятинею його, Ізраїль царством його.
2Juda devint son sanctuaire, Israël fut son domaine.
3Побачило море і розступилось, Йордан назад повернувся.
3La mer le vit et s’enfuit, Le Jourdain retourna en arrière;
4Гори, як барани, скакали, горби — як ягнята.
4Les montagnes sautèrent comme des béliers, Les collines comme des agneaux.
5Чого ж се ти, море, розступилось? І ти, Йордане, чого назад повернувся?
5Qu’as-tu, mer, pour t’enfuir, Jourdain, pour retourner en arrière?
6Ви, гори, що як барани скачите? Ви, горби, як малі ягнята?
6Qu’avez-vous, montagnes, pour sauter comme des béliers, Et vous, collines, comme des agneaux?
7Здвигнись перед Господом, земле, перед Богом Якова!
7Tremble devant le Seigneur, ô terre! Devant le Dieu de Jacob,
8Що обернув скелю в озеро, й добув жерело з кременистої опоки.
8Qui change le rocher en étang, Le roc en source d’eaux.
