1神よ、私の心は揺るがない。 私は歌い、魂を尽くしてほめ歌う。
1(108-1) A Song, a Psalm of David. (108-2) My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises, even with my glory.
2竪琴よ、琴よ、目を覚ませ。 私は暁を呼び覚ます。
2(108-3) Awake, psaltery and harp; I will awake the dawn.
3主よ、私は諸国の民の中であなたに感謝し、 国々の中であなたをほめ歌う。
3(108-4) I will give thanks unto Thee, O LORD, among the peoples; and I will sing praises unto Thee among the nations.
4あなたの慈しみは天よりも高く、 あなたの真実は大空にまで届くからだ。
4(108-5) For Thy mercy is great above the heavens, and Thy truth reacheth unto the skies.
5神よ、天よりも高く上げられてください。 あなたの栄光が全地を覆いますように。
5(108-6) Be Thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; and Thy glory be above all the earth.
6あなたの愛する者たちが救い出されるために、 右手で救い、私たちに答えてください。
6(108-7) That Thy beloved may be delivered, save with Thy right hand, and answer me.
7神は聖所から語られた。「わたしは勝ち誇ってシェケムを分け、 スコテの谷を測り分ける。
7(108-8) God spoke in His holiness, that I would exult; that I would divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.
8ギレアデはわたしのもの。マナセもわたしのもの。 エフライムはわたしのかぶと。 ユダはわたしの王笏。
8(108-9) Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the defence of my head; Judah is my sceptre.
9モアブはわたしの洗い鉢。 エドムには、わたしの履物を投げる。 ペリシテに向かって勝利の叫びを上げる。」
9(108-10) Moab is my washpot; upon Edom do I cast my shoe; over Philistia do I cry aloud.
10誰が私を城壁のある町へ導くだろうか。 誰が私をエドムへ導くだろうか。
10(108-11) Who will bring me into the fortified city? Who will lead me unto Edom?
11神よ、私たちを退けられたのは、あなたではないか。 神よ、あなたは私たちの軍勢と共に出て行かれない。
11(108-12) Hast not Thou cast us off, O God? and Thou goest not forth, O God, with our hosts?
12敵に立ち向かうため、私たちを助けてください。 人の助けはむなしいからだ。
12(108-13) Give us help against the adversary; for vain is the help of man.
13神によって、私たちは勇ましく戦う。 神ご自身が、私たちの敵を踏みつけられる。
13(108-14) Through God we shall do valiantly; for He it is that will tread down our adversaries.
