1主よ、私は深い所からあなたを呼び求める。
1A Song of Ascents. Out of the depths have I called Thee, O LORD.
2主よ、私の声を聞いてください。 私の願いの声に、あなたの耳を傾けてください。
2Lord, hearken unto my voice; let Thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
3主よ、 あなたが罪を記録されるなら、 主よ、誰が立つことができるだろうか。
3If Thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?
4しかし、あなたには赦しがある。 だからこそ、あなたは恐れられる。
4For with Thee there is forgiveness, that Thou mayest be feared.
5私は主を待ち望む。 私の魂は待ち望み、 その御言葉に望みを置く。
5I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in His word do I hope.
6私の魂は、夜回りが朝を待つよりも主を待ち望む。 まことに、夜回りが朝を待つよりも。
6My soul waiteth for the Lord, more than watchmen for the morning; yea, more than watchmen for the morning.
7イスラエルよ、主に望みを置け。 主には慈しみがあり、 豊かな贖いがあるからだ。
7O Israel, hope in the LORD; for with the LORD there is mercy, and with Him is plenteous redemption.
8主はイスラエルを、そのすべての罪から贖われる。
8And He will redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
