1主をほめたたえよ。 主のしもべたちよ、ほめたたえよ。 主の御名をほめたたえよ。
1Hallelujah. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD.
2主の御名がほめたたえられますように。 今よりとこしえまでも。
2Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for ever.
3日の昇る所から沈む所まで、 主の御名はほめたたえられる。
3From the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof the LORD'S name is to be praised.
4主はすべての国々の上に高くおられ、 その栄光は天よりも高い。
4The LORD is high above all nations, His glory is above the heavens.
5誰が私たちの神、主のようだろうか。 主は高い所に御座を置き、
5Who is like unto the LORD our God, that is enthroned on high,
6身をかがめて天と地をご覧になる。
6That looketh down low upon heaven and upon the earth?
7主は貧しい者をちりから起こし、 乏しい者を灰の山から引き上げ、
7Who raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the needy out of the dunghill;
8君主たちと共に、 ご自分の民の君主たちと共に座らせる。
8That He may set him with princes, even with the princes of His people.
9主は子のない女に家庭を与え、 子どもたちに恵まれた喜びの母とされる。 主をほめたたえよ。
9Who maketh the barren woman to dwell in her house as a joyful mother of children. Hallelujah.
