1主はモーセを呼び、会見の天幕から彼に告げられた。
1THE LORD called unto Moses, and spoke unto him out of the tent of meeting, saying:
2「イスラエルの子らに告げなさい。『あなたがたのうち、だれかが主にささげ物を携えて来るときは、牛または羊の群れからささげなさい。
2Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them: When any man of you bringeth an offering unto the LORD, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle, even of the herd or of the flock.
3『牛の群れから全焼のささげ物をする場合は、傷のない雄をささげる。その人は主に受け入れられるよう、会見の天幕の入り口でそれを差し出す。
3If his offering be a burnt-offering of the herd, he shall offer it a male without blemish; he shall bring it to the door of the tent of meeting, that he may be accepted before the LORD.
4その人が全焼のささげ物の頭に手を置くと、それは彼のための贖いとして受け入れられる。
4And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the burnt-offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.
5彼は主の前でその若い牛を屠る。祭司であるアロンの子らはその血を差し出し、会見の天幕の入り口にある祭壇の周囲にその血を振りかける。
5And he shall kill the bullock before the LORD; and Aaron's sons, the priests, shall present the blood, and dash the blood round about against the altar that is at the door of the tent of meeting.
6彼は全焼のささげ物の皮を剥ぎ、それを切り分ける。
6And he shall flay the burnt-offering, and cut it into its pieces.
7祭司アロンの子らは祭壇の上に火を置き、火の上に薪を整えて並べる。
7And the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire upon the altar, and lay wood in order upon the fire.
8祭司であるアロンの子らは、切り分けた肉、頭、脂肪を、祭壇の上の火にある薪の上に整えて並べる。
8And Aaron's sons, the priests, shall lay the pieces, and the head, and the suet, in order upon the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar;
9ただし、その内臓と足は水で洗う。祭司はそのすべてを祭壇の上で全焼のささげ物として燃やす。これは火によるささげ物であり、主への芳ばしい香りである。
9but its inwards and its legs shall he wash with water; and the priest shall make the whole smoke on the altar, for a burnt-offering, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
10『もし彼のささげ物が羊の群れ、すなわち羊または山羊からの全焼のささげ物であるなら、傷のない雄をささげる。
10And if his offering be of the flock, whether of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt-offering, he shall offer it a male without blemish.
11彼は祭壇の北側で、主の前にそれを屠る。祭司であるアロンの子らは、その血を祭壇の周囲に振りかける。
11And he shall kill it on the side of the altar northward before the LORD; and Aaron's sons, the priests, shall dash its blood against the altar round about.
12彼はそれを、その頭と脂肪とともに切り分ける。祭司はそれらを、祭壇の上の火にある薪の上に整えて並べる。
12And he shall cut it into its pieces; and the priest shall lay them, with its head and its suet, in order on the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar.
13ただし、内臓と足は水で洗う。祭司はその全体をささげ、祭壇の上で燃やす。これは全焼のささげ物、火によるささげ物であり、主への芳ばしい香りである。
13But the inwards and the legs shall he wash with water; and the priest shall offer the whole, and make it smoke upon the altar; it is a burnt-offering, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
14『もし彼の主へのささげ物が鳥の全焼のささげ物であるなら、山鳩または家鳩の雛の中から、彼のささげ物をささげる。
14And if his offering to the LORD be a burnt-offering of fowls, then he shall bring his offering of turtle-doves, or of young pigeons.
15祭司はそれを祭壇に持って行き、その頭をねじり切り、祭壇の上で燃やす。その血は祭壇の側面に絞り出される。
15And the priest shall bring it unto the altar, and pinch off its head, and make it smoke on the altar; and the blood thereof shall be drained out on the side of the altar.
16彼はその餌袋を羽毛とともに取り除き、祭壇の東側にある灰の場所に投げ捨てる。
16And he shall take away its crop with the feathers thereof, and cast it beside the altar on the east part, in the place of the ashes.
17彼はその翼のところでそれを引き裂く。ただし、二つに切り離してはならない。祭司はそれを祭壇の上、火にある薪の上で燃やす。これは全焼のささげ物、火によるささげ物であり、主への芳ばしい香りである。』」
17And he shall rend it by the wings thereof, but shall not divide it asunder; and the priest shall make it smoke upon the altar, upon the wood that is upon the fire; it is a burnt-offering, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
