1『証人として、見たことや知っていることがあり、証言を求める公の誓いの声を聞きながら証言しないなら、その人は罪を犯し、自分の咎を負う。
1And if any one sin, in that he heareth the voice of adjuration, he being a witness, whether he hath seen or known, if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity;
2『また、もしだれかが汚れたもの、すなわち汚れた野生動物の死骸、汚れた家畜の死骸、あるいは汚れた這うものの死骸に触れ、それが彼に隠されていて、彼が汚れたなら、その人は有罪である。
2or if any one touch any unclean thing, whether it be the carcass of an unclean beast, or the carcass of unclean cattle, or the carcass of unclean swarming things, and be guilty, it being hidden from him that he is unclean;
3『また、もし彼が、人が汚れるどのような人の汚れであれ、それに触れ、それが彼に隠されていたが、後でそれを知ったなら、その人は有罪である。
3or if he touch the uncleanness of man, whatsoever his uncleanness be wherewith he is unclean, and it be hid from him; and, when he knoweth of it, be guilty;
4『また、悪いことをするにせよ良いことをするにせよ、人が誓いによって軽率に口にするようなことを、だれかが唇で軽率に誓い、そのことに気づかなかったとしても、後で知ったなら、これらのいずれかについて有罪となる。
4or if any one swear clearly with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall utter clearly with an oath, and it be hid from him; and, when he knoweth of it, be guilty in one of these things;
5これらのいずれかにおいて有罪となったときは、その犯した罪を告白する。
5and it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that wherein he hath sinned;
6そして、自分が犯した罪のために、主への償いのささげ物として、羊の群れから雌、すなわち子羊または山羊を、贖罪のささげ物として持って来る。祭司は彼の罪について彼のために贖いを行う。
6and he shall bring his forfeit unto the LORD for his sin which he hath sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a goat, for a sin-offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him as concerning his sin.
7『もし子羊をささげる余裕がないなら、自分が犯した罪のための償いのささげ物として、二羽の山鳩または二羽の家鳩の雛を主のもとに持って来る。一羽は贖罪のささげ物、もう一羽は全焼のささげ物である。
7And if his means suffice not for a lamb, then he shall bring his forfeit for that wherein he hath sinned, two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, unto the LORD: one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering.
8彼はそれらを祭司のもとに持って行く。祭司はまず贖罪のささげ物となる一羽をささげる。彼はその首のところから頭をねじり切る。ただし完全に切り離してはならない。
8And he shall bring them unto the priest, who shall offer that which is for the sin-offering first, and pinch off its head close by its neck, but shall not divide it asunder.
9彼は贖罪のささげ物の血の一部を祭壇の側面に振りかける。残りの血は祭壇の土台に絞り出される。これは贖罪のささげ物である。
9And he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin-offering upon the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be drained out at the base of the altar; it is a sin-offering.
10二羽目は定めに従って全焼のささげ物としてささげる。祭司が彼の犯した罪について彼のために贖いを行うなら、彼は赦される。
10And he shall prepare the second for a burnt-offering, according to the ordinance; and the priest shall make atonement for him as concerning his sin which he hath sinned, and he shall be forgiven.
11『もし二羽の山鳩も二羽の家鳩の雛も用意できないなら、自分が犯した罪のためのささげ物として、十分の一エパの上質の小麦粉を贖罪のささげ物として持って来る。これに油をかけてはならず、乳香を添えてもならない。これは贖罪のささげ物だからである。
11But if his means suffice not for two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he shall bring his offering for that wherein he hath sinned, the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin-offering; he shall put no oil upon it, neither shall he put any frankincense thereon; for it is a sin-offering.
12彼はそれを祭司のもとに持って行く。祭司は記念の部分としてひとつかみ取り、主への火によるささげ物の上で、それを祭壇の上で燃やす。これは贖罪のささげ物である。
12And he shall bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it as the memorial-part thereof, and make it smoke on the altar, upon the offerings of the LORD made by fire; it is a sin-offering.
13これらのことのいずれかにおいて彼が犯した罪について、祭司が彼のために贖いを行うなら、彼は赦される。残りは穀物のささげ物のように、祭司のものとなる。』」
13And the priest shall make atonement for him as touching his sin that he hath sinned in any of these things, and he shall be forgiven; and the remnant shall be the priest's, as the meal-offering.
14主はモーセに告げられた。
14And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:
15「もしだれかが主の聖なるものに関して、意図せず背信の罪を犯したなら、羊の群れから傷のない雄羊一頭を、主への償いのささげ物として携えて来る。その価値は、あなたの評価額に従い、聖所のシェケルによる銀で定める。これが償いのささげ物である。
15If any one commit a trespass, and sin through error, in the holy things of the LORD, then he shall bring his forfeit unto the LORD, a ram without blemish out of the flock, according to thy valuation in silver by shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a guilt-offering.
16彼は聖なるものに関して犯した罪を償い、それにその五分の一を加算して祭司に渡す。祭司が償いのささげ物の雄羊で彼のために贖いを行うなら、彼は赦される。
16And he shall make restitution for that which he hath done amiss in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and give it unto the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the guilt-offering, and he shall be forgiven.
17「もしだれかが罪を犯し、主がしてはならないと命じられたことのいずれかを行い、それを知らなかったとしても、その人は有罪であり、その咎を負う。
17And if any one sin, and do any of the things which the LORD hath commanded not to be done, though he know it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.
18彼は羊の群れから傷のない雄羊を、あなたの評価額に従って償いのささげ物として祭司のもとに持って来る。祭司は彼が気づかずに犯し、知らなかったことについて、彼のために贖いを行う。そうすれば彼は赦される。
18And he shall bring a ram without blemish out of the flock, according to thy valuation, for a guilt-offering, unto the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning the error which he committed, though he knew it not, and he shall be forgiven.
19これは償いのささげ物である。彼は主の前で確かに有罪である。」
19It is a guilt-offering — he is certainly guilty before the LORD.
