1私は心を尽くして、あなたに感謝する。 神々の前で、あなたをほめ歌う。
1A Psalm of David. I will give Thee thanks with my whole heart, in the presence of the mighty will I sing praises unto Thee.
2私はあなたの聖なる宮に向かってひれ伏し、 あなたの慈しみと真実のゆえに、御名に感謝する。 あなたは御名と御言葉を、すべてにまさって高くされたからだ。
2I will bow down toward Thy holy temple, and give thanks unto Thy name for Thy mercy and for Thy truth; for Thou hast magnified Thy word above all Thy name.
3私が呼び求めた日に、あなたは答えてくださり、 私の魂を力づけ、勇気を与えてくださった。
3In the day that I called, Thou didst answer me; Thou didst encourage me in my soul with strength.
4主よ、地のすべての王はあなたに感謝する。 彼らはあなたの御口の言葉を聞いたからだ。
4All the kings of the earth shall give Thee thanks, O LORD, for they have heard the words of Thy mouth.
5彼らは主の道について歌う。 主の栄光は偉大だからだ。
5Yea, they shall sing of the ways of the LORD; for great is the glory of the LORD.
6主は高くおられるが、低い者を顧み、 高ぶる者を遠くから見抜かれる。
6For though the LORD be high, yet regardeth He the lowly, and the haughty He knoweth from afar.
7私が苦難のただ中を歩んでも、あなたは私を生かしてくださる。 あなたは敵の怒りに向かって御手を伸ばし、 あなたの右の手が私を救ってくださる。
7Though I walk in the midst of trouble, Thou quickenest me; Thou stretchest forth Thy hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and Thy right hand doth save me.
8主は私にかかわるすべてを成し遂げてくださる。 主よ、あなたの慈しみはとこしえに続く。 あなたの御手のわざを見捨てないでください。
8The LORD will accomplish that which concerneth me; Thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever; forsake not the work of Thine own hands.
