1私は声を上げて主に叫ぶ。 声を上げて主にあわれみを願う。
1(142-1) Maschil of David, when he was in the cave; a Prayer. (142-2) With my voice I cry unto the LORD; with my voice I make supplication unto the LORD.
2私は御前に嘆きを注ぎ出し、 苦しみを御前に告げる。
2(142-3) I pour out my complaint before Him, I declare before Him my trouble;
3私の霊が内で衰え果てたときも、 あなたは私の道筋を知っておられた。 私が歩く道に、 彼らは私のために罠を隠した。
3(142-4) When my spirit fainteth within me — Thou knowest my path — in the way wherein I walk have they hidden a snare for me.
4私の右の方を見渡して、ご覧ください。 私を顧みる者は一人もいない。 逃げ場は私から消え失せ、 私の魂を気にかける者もいない。
4(142-5) Look on my right hand, and see, for there is no man that knoweth me; I have no way to flee; no man careth for my soul.
5主よ、私はあなたに叫んだ。 私は言った。「あなたは私の避け所、 生ける者の地で、私が受ける分である。」
5(142-6) I have cried unto Thee, O LORD; I have said: 'Thou art my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.'
6私の叫びに耳を傾けてください。 私はひどく弱り果てている。 私を迫害する者たちから救い出してください。 彼らは私よりも強いからだ。
6(142-7) Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low; deliver me from my persecutors; for they are too strong for me.
7私の魂を牢獄から連れ出してください。 私があなたの御名に感謝するためだ。 義人たちは私の周りに集まるだろう。 あなたが私に良くしてくださるからだ。
7(142-8) Bring my soul out of prison, that I may give thanks unto Thy name; the righteous shall crown themselves because of me; for Thou wilt deal bountifully with me.
