1主に信頼する者たちは、シオンの山のよう。 揺らぐことなく、とこしえにとどまる。
1A Song of Ascents. They that trust in the LORD are as mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abideth for ever.
2山々がエルサレムを取り囲むように、 主は今より、とこしえまでも、ご自分の民を取り囲まれる。
2As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about His people, from this time forth and for ever.
3悪者の王笏は、義人に割り当てられた地の上にとどまらない。 義人が手を伸ばして悪を行わないためである。
3For the rod of wickedness shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; that the righteous put not forth their hands unto iniquity.
4主よ、善良な者たちと、 心のまっすぐな者たちに善を行ってください。
4Do good, O LORD, unto the good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.
5しかし、曲がった道にそれる者たちを、 主は悪を行う者たちと共に連れ去られる。 イスラエルに平和があるように。
5But as for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD will lead them away with the workers of iniquity. Peace be upon Israel.
