1主よ、私の敵はなんと増えたことか。 私に立ち向かう者が多くいる。
1(3-1) A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son. (3-2) LORD, how many are mine adversaries become! Many are they that rise up against me.
2私の魂について、多くの者が言う。 「神 の内に彼の救いはない」と。 セラ。
2(3-3) Many there are that say of my soul: 'There is no salvation for him in God.' Selah
3しかし主よ、あなたは私の周りにある盾、 私の栄光であり、私の頭を高く上げてくださる方だ。
3(3-4) But thou, O LORD, art a shield about me; my glory, and the lifter up of my head.
4私は声を上げて主に呼ばわり、 主はその聖なる山から私に答えられる。 セラ。
4(3-5) With my voice I call unto the LORD, and He answereth me out of His holy mountain. Selah
5私は身を横たえて眠った。 私は目を覚ました。主が私を支えてくださるからだ。
5(3-6) I lay me down, and I sleep; I awake, for the LORD sustaineth me.
6私は数万の人々を恐れない。 彼らが四方から私に陣を敷こうとも。
6(3-7) I am not afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.
7主よ、立ち上がってください。 私の神よ、私を救ってください。 あなたは私のすべての敵の頬骨を打ち、 悪者の歯を打ち砕かれた。
7(3-8) Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God; for Thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek, Thou hast broken the teeth of the wicked.
8救いは主にある。 あなたの祝福があなたの民の上にありますように。 セラ。
8(3-9) Salvation belongeth unto the LORD; Thy blessing be upon Thy people. Selah
