1主をほめたたえよ！ 私は心を尽くして主に感謝する。 心の直ぐな者たちの集いと、会衆の中で。
1Hallelujah. I will give thanks unto the LORD with my whole heart, in the council of the upright, and in the congregation.
2主の御業は偉大であり、 それを喜ぶすべての者が、深く思い巡らす。
2The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have delight therein.
3主の御業には誉れと威厳があり、 その義はとこしえに続く。
3His work is glory and majesty; and His righteousness endureth for ever.
4主は不思議な御業を、記念として残された。 主は恵み豊かで、あわれみ深い。
4He hath made a memorial for His wonderful works; the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.
5主はご自分を恐れる者たちに食物を与え、 ご自分の契約をとこしえに覚えておられる。
5He hath given food unto them that fear Him; He will ever be mindful of His covenant.
6主は御業の力をご自分の民に示し、 諸国の地を彼らに受け継がせた。
6He hath declared to His people the power of His works, in giving them the heritage of the nations.
7その御手の業は真実と公正。 そのすべての命令は確かである。
7The works of His hands are truth and justice; all His precepts are sure.
8それらは、とこしえのとこしえまで堅く立ち、 真実と正しさをもって行われる。
8They are established for ever and ever, they are done in truth and uprightness.
9主はご自分の民に贖いを送り、 ご自分の契約をとこしえに定められた。 その御名は聖であり、恐るべきものである。
9He hath sent redemption unto His people; He hath commanded His covenant for ever; Holy and awful is His name.
10主を恐れることは、知恵の初め。 主の命令を行う者は皆、確かな悟りを得る。 主への賛美は、とこしえに続く。
10The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; a good understanding have all they that do thereafter; His praise endureth for ever.
