1主は王となられた。 地は喜べ。 多くの島々は喜び楽しめ。
1The LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad.
2雲と暗闇が主を取り囲み、 義と公正がその王座の土台である。
2Clouds and darkness are round about Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.
3火が御前を進み、 周囲の敵を焼き尽くす。
3A fire goeth before Him, and burneth up His adversaries round about.
4主の稲妻は世界を照らし、 地はそれを見て震える。
4His lightnings lighted up the world; the earth saw, and trembled.
5山々は主の御前で、ろうのように溶ける。 全地の主の御前で。
5The mountains melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
6天は主の義を告げ、 すべての民はその栄光を見た。
6The heavens declared His righteousness, and all the peoples saw His glory.
7彫像に仕え、 偶像を誇る者は皆、恥を受けよ。 すべての神々よ、主にひれ伏せ。
7Ashamed be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of things of nought; bow down to Him, all ye gods.
8シオンは聞いて喜び、 ユダの娘たちは喜び楽しんだ。 主よ、あなたのさばきのゆえに。
8Zion heard and was glad, and the daughters of Judah rejoiced; because of Thy judgments, O LORD.
9主よ、あなたは全地の上におられる、いと高き方。 すべての神々より、はるかに高くおられる。
9For Thou, LORD, art most high above all the earth; Thou art exalted far above all gods.
10主を愛する者たちよ、悪を憎め。 主はその聖なる者たちの魂を守り、 悪者の手から救い出される。
10O ye that love the LORD, hate evil; He preserveth the souls of His saints; He delivered them out of the hand of the wicked.
11光は義人のためにまかれ、 喜びは心の直ぐな者のためにまかれている。
11Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.
12義人たちよ、主にあって喜べ。 その聖なる御名に感謝せよ。
12Be glad in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks to His holy name.
