1主は私の羊飼い。 私は何も欠けることがない。
1A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2主は私を緑の牧場に伏させ、 穏やかな水のほとりに導かれる。
2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters.
3主は私の魂を生き返らせ、 御名のために、義の道に導かれる。
3He restoreth my soul; He guideth me in straight paths for His name's sake.
4たとえ死の陰の谷を歩むとしても、 私は災いを恐れない。あなたが私と共におられるからだ。 あなたのむちと杖が、 私を慰める。
4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me.
5あなたは私のために食卓を整える。 敵の目の前で。 私の頭に油を注がれる。 私の杯はあふれている。
5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou hast anointed my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6まことに、恵みと慈しみが、生涯のすべての日に私を追い、 私はとこしえに主の家に住むだろう。
6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
