1ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ငါ ၏ သိုးထိန်းဖြစ်တော်မူ ၏။ ငါသည် ဆင်းရဲ မ ခံရ။
1A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2စိမ်းလန်း သော ကျက်စား ရာအရပ်၌ ငါ့ ကို အိပ် စေတော်မူ၏။ သာယာ သောမြစ် နား သို့ လမ်းပြ တော်မူ၏။
2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters.
3ငါ့ ဝိညာဉ် ကိုအားဖြည့် ၍၊ နာမတော် အဘို့ အလိုငှါ တရား လမ်း ထဲ ၌သွေးဆောင် တော်မူ၏။
3He restoreth my soul; He guideth me in straight paths for His name's sake.
4အကယ်၍ သေမင်း ၏အရိပ်လွှမ်းမိုးသော ချိုင့် ထဲသို့ ရှောက်သွား ရသော်လည်း ဘေး အန္တရာယ်ကို မ ကြောက် ပါ။ အကြောင်း မူကား၊ ကိုယ်တော် သည် အကျွန်ုပ် နှင့်အတူ ရှိတော်မူသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ လှံတံ တော်နှင့် တောင်ဝေး တော်သည် အကျွန်ုပ် ကို ချမ်းသာ စေပါ၏။
4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me.
5အကျွန်ုပ် ၏ ရန်သူ တို့ရှေ့ မှာ အကျွန်ုပ် အဘို့ စားပွဲ ကိုခင်း တော်မူ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ် ခေါင်း ကိုဆီ နှင့် လိမ်း တော်မူ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ် ခွက် ဖလားသည် လျှံ လျက်ရှိပါ၏။
5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou hast anointed my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6အကယ် စင်စစ် အကျွန်ုပ် သည် ကျေးဇူး နှင့် ကရုဏာ ကို တသက်လုံး ခံစား ၍ ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ အိမ် တော်မှာ အစဉ် အမြဲနေ ရပါလိမ့်မည်။
6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
