1အိုဘုရား သခင်၊ နာမ တော်အားဖြင့် အကျွန်ုပ် ကို ကယ်တင် တော်မူပါ။ တန်ခိုး တော်အားဖြင့် အကျွန်ုပ် ဘက် ၌ တရား စီရင်တော်မူပါ။
1(54-1) For the Leader; with string-music. Maschil of David: (54-2) when the Ziphites came and said to Saul: 'Doth not David hide himself with us?' (54-3) O God, save me by Thy name, and right me by Thy might.
2အကျွန်ုပ် ပြုသောပဌနာ နှင့် အကျွန်ုပ် မြွက် သောစကား ကို နားထောင် နား ညောင်းတော်မူပါဘုရား။
2(54-4) O God, hear my prayer; give ear to the words of my mouth.
3အကြောင်း မူကား၊ တကျွန်း တနိုင်ငံသားတို့သည် အကျွန်ုပ် ကို ရန်ဘက် ပြု၍ထကြပါပြီ။ ကြမ်းတမ်း သောသူတို့ သည် အကျွန်ုပ် အသက် ကို ရှာ ကြပါ၏။ ဘုရား သခင်၏ မျက်နှာတော်ကို မ ထောက် ကြပါ။
3(54-5) For strangers are risen up against me, and violent men have sought after my soul; they have not set God before them. Selah
4ကြည့်ရှု လော့။ ဘုရား သခင်သည် ငါ့ ကို ကူမ တော်မူ၏။ ငါ့ အသက် ကိုထောက် ပင့်သောသူတို့တွင် ထာဝရ ဘုရားရှိတော်မူ၏။
4(54-6) Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is for me as the upholder of my soul.
5ငါ ၏ရန်သူ တို့အား မ ကောင်းသောအကျိုးကို ဆပ် ပေးတော်မူမည်။ သစ္စာ တော်ရှိသည်အတိုင်း သူ တို့ကို ပယ်ရှင်း တော်မူပါ။
5(54-7) He will requite the evil unto them that lie in wait for me; destroy Thou them in Thy truth.
6အကျွန်ုပ်သည်လည်း၊ စေတနာ စိတ်နှင့် ကိုယ်တော် အား ယဇ် ပူဇော်ပါမည်။ အိုထာဝရဘုရား ၊ နာမတော် ကို ချီးမွမ်း ပါမည်။ အကြောင်း မူကား၊ ကောင်းမြတ် တော်မူ၏။
6(54-8) With a freewill-offering will I sacrifice unto Thee; I will give thanks unto Thy name, O LORD, for it is good.
7အကျွန်ုပ် ကို ခပ်သိမ်း သော ဒုက္ခ ထဲက ကယ်နှုတ် တော်မူသဖြင့် ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် သည် ရန်သူ တို့ကို ကိုယ် မျက်စိ နှင့် မြင် ၍အားရပါ၏။
7(54-9) For He hath delivered me out of all trouble; and mine eye hath gazed upon mine enemies.
