1အိုဘုရား သခင်၊ အကျွန်ုပ် ကို သနား တော်မူပါ။ လူ တို့သည် ကိုက်စား အံ့ သော ဒေါသနှင့်နေ့တိုင်း တိုက် ၍ အကျွန်ုပ် ကို နှိပ်စက် ကြပါ ၏။
1(56-1) For the Leader; upon Jonath-elem-rehokim. A Psalm of David; Michtam; when the Philistines took him in Gath. (56-2) Be gracious unto me, O God, for man would swallow me up; all the day he fighting oppresseth me.
2ရန်သူ တို့သည် နေ့တိုင်း ကိုက်စား အံ့သော ဒေါသ ရှိ၍ မြင့် သောစိတ်နှင့် အကျွန်ုပ် ကို တိုက် သောသူ အများ ရှိကြပါ၏။
2(56-3) They that lie in wait for me would swallow me up all the day; for they are many that fight against me, O Most High,
3အကျွန်ုပ် သည် ကြောက်ရွံ့ သောအခါ ကိုယ်တော် ၌ ခိုလှုံ ပါမည်။
3(56-4) In the day that I am afraid, I will put my trust in Thee.
4ဘုရား သခင်ကို အမှီပြု၍ နှုတ်ကပတ် တော်၌ ဝါကြွား ပါမည်။ ငါသည် ဘုရား သခင်ကို ခိုလှုံ သည်ဖြစ်၍ ကြောက် စရာမ ရှိ။ လူ သည် ငါ ၌ အဘယ်သို့ ပြု နိုင်သနည်း။
4(56-5) In God — I will praise His word — in God do I trust, I will not be afraid; what can flesh do unto me?
5သူတို့သည် နေ့တိုင်း ငါ့ စကား ကို အလွဲ ယူကြ၏။ ငါ ၌ မကောင်း သောအကြံကိုသာ ကြံစည် ကြ၏။
5(56-6) All the day they trouble mine affairs; all their thoughts are against me for evil.
6ငါ့ အသက် ကို စောင့် စဉ် အခါစုဝေး ၍ ချောင်းမြောင်း လျက်၊ ငါ ခြေရာ တို့ကို ကြည့် မှတ်ကြ၏။
6(56-7) They gather themselves together, they hide themselves, they mark my steps; according as they have waited for my soul.
7သူ တို့သည် မ တရားသောအမှုအားဖြင့် လွှတ်ခြင်း သို့ ရောက်ရပါမည်လော။ အိုဘုရား သခင်၊ ထိုလူ များ တို့ကို အမျက် တော်ထွက်၍ လှဲ တော်မူပါ။
7(56-8) Because of iniquity cast them out; in anger bring down the peoples, O God.
8အကျွန်ုပ် သည် အရပ်ရပ်လည် ရသောအခြင်း အရာတို့ကို ကိုယ်တော် မှတ် ၍ အကျွန်ုပ် မျက်ရည် တို့ကို ဘူး တော်ထဲ မှာ ထည့် တော်မူပါ။ စာရင်း တော်၌ ရှိပါသည် မဟုတ် လော။
8(56-9) Thou has counted my wanderings; put Thou my tears into Thy bottle; are they not in Thy book?
9ဘုရား သခင်သည် ငါ့ ဘက်မှာ နေတော်မူသောကြောင့် ၊ ငါအော်ဟစ် သောအခါ ရန်သူ တို့သည် လှန် ခြင်း ကိုခံရကြမည်ကို ငါသိ ၏။
9(56-10) Then shall mine enemies turn back in the day that I call; this I know, that God is for me.
10ဘုရား သခင်ကို အမှီပြု ၍ နှုတ်ကပတ် တော်၌ ဝါကြွား မည်။ ထာဝရဘုရား ကို အမှီပြု၍ နှုတ်ကပတ် တော်၌ ဝါကြွား မည်။
10(56-11) In God — I will praise His word — in the LORD — I will praise His word —
11ငါသည် ဘုရား သခင်ကို ခိုလှုံ သည်ဖြစ်၍ ကြောက် စရာမ ရှိ။ လူ သည် ငါ ၌ အဘယ်သို့ ပြု နိုင် သနည်း။
11(56-12) In God do I trust, I will not be afraid; what can man do unto me?
12အိုဘုရား သခင်၊ အကျွန်ုပ် သည် ရှေ့ တော်၌ သစ္စာ ပြုပါသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ သစ္စာ ဝတ်ကို ဖြေလျက်ကိုယ်တော် ကို ချီးမွမ်း ပါမည်။
12(56-13) Thy vows are upon me, O God; I will render thank-offerings unto Thee.
13ကိုယ်တော်သည် အကျွန်ုပ် အသက် ကို သေ ခြင်း မှ ကယ်လွှတ် တော်မူပြီ။ အသက် ရှင်သောသူတို့၏ အလင်း ထဲ မှာဘုရား သခင့်ရှေ့ တော်၌ အကျွန်ုပ်ကျင့်နေပါမည် အကြောင်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ် ခြေ ကိုလည်း ထိမိ၍လဲ ခြင်းမှ ကယ်လွှတ်တော်မူမည်မဟုတ် လော။
13(56-14) For thou hast delivered my soul from death; hast Thou not delivered my feet from stumbling? that I may walk before God in the light of the living.
