1အိုထာဝရဘုရား ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် သည် စိတ် မ မြင့် ပါ။ မျက်နှာ လည်း မ မော် ပါ။ ကိုယ်နှင့်မတန်၊ ကြီးမြင့် သော အမှု တို့၌ မ ကျင်လည် ပါ။
1A Song of Ascents; of David. LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty; neither do I exercise myself in things too great, or in things too wonderful for me.
2အကယ် စင်စစ်အကျွန်ုပ် သည် အမိ နို့ နှင့် ကွာ သော သူငယ်ကဲ့သို့ ၊ ကိုယ် စိတ် ကို ဖြေ ၍ ငြိမ်း စေပါပြီ။ အကျွန်ုပ် စိတ် နှလုံးသည် နို့ ကွာသော သူငယ်ကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်ပါ ၏။
2Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul; like a weaned child with his mother; my soul is with me like a weaned child.
3ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသည် ယခု မှစ၍ ၊ ကာလ အစဉ်မပြတ်ထာဝရဘုရား ကို မြော်လင့် ပါစေ။
3O Israel, hope in the LORD from this time forth and for ever.
