1Посходня пісня Давидова. Господи! Не виноситься серце моє, нї гордують очі мої; і не ганяю за речами, що за великі і за дивні для мене.
1A Song of Ascents; of David. LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty; neither do I exercise myself in things too great, or in things too wonderful for me.
2Чи не втихомирив я і не заспокоїв душу мою, як відлучене дитятко при матері своїй? Душа моя, як відлучена дитинка, в мене.
2Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul; like a weaned child with his mother; my soul is with me like a weaned child.
3Вповай, Ізраїлю, на Господа від нинї по віки.
3O Israel, hope in the LORD from this time forth and for ever.
