1Люблю Господа; він бо почув голос мій, благаннє моє;
1I love that the LORD should hear my voice and my supplications.
2Він бо прихилив до мене ухо своє; буду призивати його по всї днї мої.
2Because He hath inclined His ear unto me, therefore will I call upon Him all my days.
3Обняли мене смертні пута, і підземна тїснота постигла мене; в горю і в тузї я зостарівся.
3The cords of death compassed me, and the straits of the nether-world got hold upon me; I found trouble and sorrow.
4І призвав я імя Господа: Благаю тебе, Господи, спаси душу мою.
4But I called upon the name of the LORD: 'I beseech thee, O LORD, deliver my soul.'
5Благий Господь і справедливий; і милосердний Бог наш.
5Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is compassionate.
6Господь заступає простодушних; я знемігся, і він вирятував мене.
6The LORD preserveth the simple; I was brought low, and He saved me.
7Вернись, душе моя, до спокою твого! Бо Господь добродїй твій.
7Return, O my soul, unto Thy rest; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.
8Ти бо спас душу мою від смерти, очи мої від слїз, ногу мою від пропастї.
8For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from stumbling.
9Буду ходити перед Господом в країнї живих.
9I shall walk before the LORD in the lands of the living.
10Я вірував, тому й казав. Був я дуже прибитий.
10I trusted even when I spoke: 'I am greatly afflicted.'
11Сказав у зворушенню моїм: всї люде обманьчиві!
11I said in my haste: 'All men are liars.'
12Чим віддячити менї Господеві за добродїйства його, сотворені менї?
12How can I repay unto the LORD all His bountiful dealings toward me?
13Чашу спасення піднесу, і імя Господа призову.
13I will lift up the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.
14Сповню Господеві всї обітницї мої, перед всїм народом його.
14My vows will I pay unto the LORD, yea, in the presence of all His people.
15Дорога перед очима Господа смерть угодників його.
15Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints.
16Благаю тебе, Господи, я бо слуга твій; я слуга твій, син слугинї твоєї; ти розбив кайдани мої.
16I beseech Thee, O LORD, for I am Thy servant; I am Thy servant, the son of Thy handmaid; Thou hast loosed my bands.
17Тобі принесу жертву хвали, і призову імя Господа.
17I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.
18Сповню Господеві всї обітницї мої, перед усїм народом його,
18I will pay my vows unto the LORD, yea, in the presence of all His people;
19У дворах дому Господнього, серед тебе, Єрусалиме. Аллилуя!
19In the courts of the LORD'S house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Hallelujah.
