1Аллилуя! Щасливий чоловік, що боїться Господа, що дуже любить заповідї його!

1Hallelujah. Happy is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in His commandments.

2Насїннє його буде потужне на землї; буде благословений рід праведників.

2His seed shall be mighty upon earth; the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

3Достаток і багацтво буде в домі його, і справедливість його буде по віки.

3Wealth and riches are in his house; and his merit endureth for ever.

4У темряві сходить сьвітло праведникам; він благий і милосердний і справедливий.

4Unto the upright He shineth as a light in the darkness, gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

5Благо чоловікові, що милосердується і пожичає! Він докаже справу свою на судї;

5Well is it with the man that dealeth graciously and lendeth, that ordereth his affairs rightfully.

6Він бо по віки не захитається; память праведника буде вічна.

6For he shall never be moved; the righteous shall be had in everlasting remembrance.

7Від злої вістки не злякається; серце його безпечне, вповаючи на Господа.

7He shall not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is stedfast, trusting in the LORD.

8Безпечне серце його; він не боїться, поки не побачить погибелї ворогів своїх.

8His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he gaze upon his adversaries.

9Він роздає щедро, дає вбогим; справедливість його треває по віки; ріг його в славі буде возвисшений.

9He hath scattered abroad, he hath given to the needy; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted in honour.

10Побачить се грішник і розсердиться; скрегочучи зубами, буде пропадати; жаданнє грішників загине.

10The wicked shall see it, and be vexed; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away; the desire of the wicked shall perish.
