1Посходня пісня. Очі мої підношу на гори, звідки поміч моя прийде.
1A Song of Ascents. I will lift up mine eyes unto the mountains: from whence shall my help come?
2Поміч моя від Господа, що сотворив небо і землю.
2My help cometh from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
3Не дасть нозї твоїй спіткнутись; твій сторож не дрімає.
3He will not suffer thy foot to be moved; He that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4Бач! Сторож Ізраїля не задрімає, і не засне він.
4Behold, He that keepeth Israel doth neither slumber nor sleep.
5Господь сторож твій, Господь тїнь твоя, праворуч у тебе.
5The LORD is thy keeper; the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6Не вдарить на тебе сонце в день, нї в ночі місяць.
6The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7Господь заступить тебе від всякого лиха, він заступить душу твою.
7The LORD shall keep thee from all evil; He shall keep thy soul.
8Заступить Господь вихід твій і вхід твій від нинї по віки.
8The LORD shall guard thy going out and thy coming in, from this time forth and for ever.
