1Nga fah ngetak nu fineol uh, Kasru luk ac fah tuku ya me?
1A Song of Ascents. I will lift up mine eyes unto the mountains: from whence shall my help come?
2Kasru luk tuku sin LEUM GOD me, Su orala kusrao ac faclu.
2My help cometh from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
3El ac fah tia lela niom in mukuikui; El su liyekomyang fah tia motulla.
3He will not suffer thy foot to be moved; He that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4Liye, El su liyaung Israel Fah tiana motul ku folosuwosla.
4Behold, He that keepeth Israel doth neither slumber nor sleep.
5LEUM GOD El mwet liyaung lom; LEUM GOD El mwe lul lom lac poum layot.
5The LORD is thy keeper; the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6Faht uh ac fah tia unikom ke len, Ku malem ke fong.
6The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7LEUM GOD El ac fah liyekomyang liki ma koluk nukewa, El ac fah liyaung moul lom.
7The LORD shall keep thee from all evil; He shall keep thy soul.
8LEUM GOD El ac fah liyaung illa lom ac ilyak lom, Ingela ac nu tok ma pahtpat.
8The LORD shall guard thy going out and thy coming in, from this time forth and for ever.
