1THE WORDS of Amos, who was among the herdmen of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.
2Amos el fahk, “Pusren LEUM GOD ngirngir Fineol Zion me. Pusracl kasla oana pusren pulahl Jerusalem me. Insroan mah uh paola, Ac sak folfol insroa Fineol Carmel uli.”
2And he said: The LORD roareth from Zion, and uttereth His voice from Jerusalem; and the pastures of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.
3LEUM GOD El fahk, “Mwet Damascus elos kalweni na in oru ma koluk, ac ke sripa inge pwayena nga fah kalyaelos. Elos arulana sulallal in anwuk nu sin mwet Gilead.
3For thus saith the LORD: For three transgressions of Damascus, yea, for four, I will not reverse it: because they have threshed Gilead with sledges of iron.
4Ouinge nga fah supwala e nu fin lohm sin tokosra su musaiyukla sel Tokosra Hazael, ac nga fah esukak pot ku lal Tokosra Benhadad.
4So will I send a fire into the house of Hazael, and it shall devour the palaces of Ben-hadad;
5Nga fah lipikya mutunpot ke siti Damascus, ac moklela leum lun Betheden ac mwet muta Infahlfal Aven. Mwet Syria ac fah sruhu ac utukla nu Kir.”
5And I will break the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from Bikath-Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Beth-eden; and the people of Aram shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith the LORD.
6LEUM GOD El fahk, “Mwet Gaza elos kalweni na in oru ma koluk, ac ke sripa inge pwayena nga fah kalyaelos. Elos usla un mwet puspis ac kukakunulosyang in mwet kohs nu sin mwet Edom.
6Thus saith the LORD: For three transgressions of Gaza, yea, for four, I will not reverse it: because they carried away captive a whole captivity, to deliver them up to Edom.
7Ouinge nga fah supwala e nu fin pot kuhlusyen siti Gaza, ac esukak pot ku lun acn we.
7So will I send a fire on the wall of Gaza, and it shall devour the palaces thereof;
8Nga fah sisla mwet leum lun siti Ashdod ac Ashkelon. Nga fah kalyei siti Ekron, ac mwet Philistia nukewa su lula fah misa.”
8And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon; and I will turn My hand against Ekron, and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord GOD.
9LEUM GOD El fahk, “Mwet Tyre elos kalweni na in oru ma koluk, ac ke sripa inge pwayena nga fah kalyaelos. Elos usla un mwet puspis nu ke sruoh in acn Edom, ac tia karinganang wuleang in akasrui ma elos tuh orala.
9Thus saith the LORD: For three transgressions of Tyre, yea, for four, I will not reverse it: because they delivered up a whole captivity to Edom, and remembered not the brotherly covenant.
10Ke ma inge nga fah supwala e nu fin pot kuhlusyen siti Tyre, ac esukak pot ku we.”
10So will I send a fire on the wall of Tyre, and it shall devour the palaces thereof.
11LEUM GOD El fahk, “Mwet Edom elos kalweni na in oru ma koluk, ac ke sripa inge pwayena nga fah kalyaelos. Elos ukweya mwet wialos mwet Israel, ac tia pakoten nu selos. Kasrkusrak lalos arulana upa, tiana ku in wanginla.
11Thus saith the LORD: For three transgressions of Edom, yea, for four, I will not reverse it: because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he kept his wrath for ever.
12Ouinge nga fah supwala e nu fin siti Teman, ac esukak pot ku lun Bozrah.”
12So will I send a fire upon Teman, and it shall devour the palaces of Bozrah.
13LEUM GOD El fahk, “Mwet Ammon elos kalweni na in oru ma koluk, ac ke sripa inge pwayena nga fah kalyaelos. Ke sripen elos kena akyokye acn selos elos som mweuni acn Gilead ac tiyala insien mutan pitutu we.
13Thus saith the LORD: For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, yea, for four, I will not reverse it: because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their border.
14Ke ma inge nga fah supwala e nu fin pot kuhlusyen siti Rabbah, ac esukak pot ku we. Na ac fah oasr pusren sasa ke len in mweun, ac mweun uh fah ngisyak oana paka se.
14So will I kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it shall devour the palaces thereof, with shouting in the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind;
15Tokosra ac mwet pwapa lal fah utukla nu in sruoh.”
15And their king shall go into captivity, he and his princes together, saith the LORD.
