1Проводиреві хора; Давидова, на спомин. Поспіши, Боже, спаси мене, Господи, прийди на поміч менї!
1For the Leader. A Psalm of David; to make memorial. O God, to deliver me, O LORD, to help me, make haste.
2Нехай осоромляться і повстидаються всї, що на життє моє чигають! Нехай назад кинуться і осоромляться ті, що втїшаються з мого нещастя!
2Let them be ashamed and abashed that seek after my soul; let them be turned backward and brought to confusion that delight in my hurt.
3Нехай повернуться назад, в нагороду за свій сором, ті, що кажуть: Ого! Ого!
3Let them be turned back by reason of their shame that say: 'Aha, aha.'
4Нехай радуються і веселяться в тобі всї, що шукають тебе! А ті, що люблять спасеннє твоє, нехай кажуть: Бог великий!
4Let all those that seek Thee rejoice and be glad in Thee; and let such as love Thy salvation say continually: 'Let God be magnified.'
5Я ж мізерний і бідний; Боже, поспіши до мене! Ти моя поміч і моє спасеннє; Господи, не загайся!
5But I am poor and needy; O God, make haste unto me; Thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, tarry not.
