1Посходня пісня. З глибинї кличу до тебе, Господи!
1A Song of Ascents. Out of the depths have I called Thee, O LORD.
2Господи, почуй голос мій! Нехай слухи твої повернуться до голосу мого благання!
2Lord, hearken unto my voice; let Thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
3Коли ти, Господи, будеш памятати несправедливостї, — Господи, хто встоїть?
3If Thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?
4Та в тебе є помилуваннє, щоб люде благовіли перед тобою.
4For with Thee there is forgiveness, that Thou mayest be feared.
5Надїюсь на Господа; душа моя надїється, і вповаю на слово його.
5I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in His word do I hope.
6Душа моя дожидає Господа, більше як сторожа ранку, як сторожі ранку.
6My soul waiteth for the Lord, more than watchmen for the morning; yea, more than watchmen for the morning.
7Вповай, Ізраїлю, на Господа! Бо в Господа милість і багацтво спасення в його.
7O Israel, hope in the LORD; for with the LORD there is mercy, and with Him is plenteous redemption.
8І він спасе Ізраїля від всїх несправедливостей його.
8And He will redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
