1خدایا، برای نجات من بشتاب! ای خداوند به اعانت من تعجیل فرما!
1For the Leader. A Psalm of David; to make memorial. O God, to deliver me, O LORD, to help me, make haste.
2آنانی که قصد جان من دارند، خجل و شرمنده شوند، و آنانی که در بدی من رغبت دارند، روبرگردانیده و رسوا گردند،
2Let them be ashamed and abashed that seek after my soul; let them be turned backward and brought to confusion that delight in my hurt.
3و آنانی که هه هه می‌گویند، به‌سبب خجالت خویش رو برگردانیده شوند.
3Let them be turned back by reason of their shame that say: 'Aha, aha.'
4و اما جمیع طالبان تو، در تو وجد و شادی کنند، و دوست دارندگان نجات تو دائم گویند: «خدا متعال باد!»
4Let all those that seek Thee rejoice and be glad in Thee; and let such as love Thy salvation say continually: 'Let God be magnified.'
5و اما من مسکین و فقیر هستم. خدایا برای من تعجیل کن. تو مددکار ونجات‌دهنده من هستی. ای خداوند تاخیر منما.
5But I am poor and needy; O God, make haste unto me; Thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, tarry not.
