1خداوند سلطنت را گرفته و خود را به جلال آراسته است. خداوند خود راآراسته و کمر خود را به قوت بسته است. ربع مسکون نیز پایدار گردیده است و جنبش نخواهدخورد.
1The LORD reigneth; He is clothed in majesty; the LORD is clothed, He hath girded Himself with strength; yea, the world is established, that it cannot be moved.
2تخت تو از ازل پایدار شده است و تو ازقدیم هستی.
2Thy throne is established of old; Thou art from everlasting.
3ای خداوند سیلابها برافراشته اندسیلابها آواز خود را برافراشته‌اند. سیلابهاخروش خود را برافراشته‌اند.
3The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their roaring.
4فوق آواز آبهای بسیار، فوق امواج زورآور دریا. خداوند در اعلی اعلیین زورآورتر است.
4Above the voices of many waters, the mighty breakers of the sea, the LORD on high is mighty.
5شهادات تو بی‌نهایت امین است. ای خداوند، قدوسیت خانه تو رامی زیبد تا ابدالاباد.
5Thy testimonies are very sure, holiness becometh Thy house, O LORD, for evermore.
