1Благо човеку који се боји Господа, коме су веома омилеле заповести Његове.
1Hallelujah. Happy is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in His commandments.
2Силно ће бити на земљи семе његово, род праведнички биће благословен.
2His seed shall be mighty upon earth; the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
3Обиље је и богатство у дому његовом, и правда његова траје довека.
3Wealth and riches are in his house; and his merit endureth for ever.
4У тами сјаје видело праведницима од доброг, милостивог и праведног.
4Unto the upright He shineth as a light in the darkness, gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
5Благо ономе који је милостив и даје у зајам! Он ће дати тврђу речима својим на суду.
5Well is it with the man that dealeth graciously and lendeth, that ordereth his affairs rightfully.
6Јер неће посрнути довека, праведник ће се спомињати увек.
6For he shall never be moved; the righteous shall be had in everlasting remembrance.
7Не боји се злог гласа; срце је његово стално, узда се у Господа.
7He shall not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is stedfast, trusting in the LORD.
8Утврђено је срце његово, неће се побојати, и видеће како падају непријатељи његови.
8His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he gaze upon his adversaries.
9Просипа, даје убогима; правда његова траје довека, рог се његов узвишује у слави.
9He hath scattered abroad, he hath given to the needy; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted in honour.
10Безбожник види, и једи се, шкргуће зубима својим, и сахне. Жеља ће безбожницима пропасти.
10The wicked shall see it, and be vexed; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away; the desire of the wicked shall perish.
