1Љубићу Те, Господе, крепости моја,
1(18-1) For the Leader. A Psalm of David the servant of the LORD, who spoke unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul; (18-2) And he said: I love thee, O LORD, my strength.
2Господе, Граде мој, Заклоне мој, који се оборити не може, Избавитељу мој, Боже мој, Камена горо, на којој се не бојим зла, Штите мој, Роже спасења мог, Уточиште моје!
2(18-3) The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in Him I take refuge; my shield, and my horn of salvation, my high tower.
3Призивам Господа, коме се клањати ваља, и опраштам се непријатеља својих.
3(18-4) Praised, I cry, is the LORD, and I am saved from mine enemies.
4Обузеше ме смртне болести, и потоци неваљалих људи уплашише ме.
4(18-5) The cords of Death compassed me, and the floods of Belial assailed me.
5Опколише ме болести паклене, стегоше ме замке смртне
5(18-6) The cords of Sheol surrounded me; the snares of Death confronted me.
6У својој тескоби призвах Господа, и к Богу свом повиках; Он чу из двора свог глас мој, и вика моја дође Му до ушију.
6(18-7) In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God; out of His temple He heard my voice, and my cry came before Him unto His ears.
7Затресе се и поколеба се земља, задрмаше се и померише из темеља горе, јер се Он разљути.
7(18-8) Then the earth did shake and quake, the foundations also of the mountains did tremble; they were shaken, because He was wroth.
8Подиже се дим од гнева Његовог, из уста Његових огањ, који прождире и живо угљевље одскакаше од Њега.
8(18-9) Smoke arose up in His nostrils, and fire out of His mouth did devour; coals flamed forth from Him.
9Сави небеса и сиђе. Мрак беше под ногама Његовим.
9(18-10) He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and thick darkness was under His feet.
10Седе на херувима и подиже се, и полете на крилима ветреним.
10(18-11) And He rode upon a cherub, and did fly; yea, He did swoop down upon the wings of the wind.
11Од мрака начини себи кров, сеницу око себе, од мрачних вода, облака ваздушних.
11(18-12) He made darkness His hiding-place, His pavilion round about Him; darkness of waters, thick clouds of the skies.
12Од севања пред Њим кроз облаке Његове удари град и живо угљевље.
12(18-13) At the brightness before Him, there passed through His thick clouds hailstones and coals of fire.
13Загрме на небесима Господ, и Вишњи пусти глас свој, град и живо угљевље.
13(18-14) The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Most High gave forth His voice; hailstones and coals of fire.
14Пусти стреле своје, и разметну их; силу муња, и расу их.
14(18-15) And He sent out His arrows, and scattered them; and He shot forth lightnings, and discomfited them.
15И показаше се извори водени, и открише се темељи васиљени од претње Твоје, Господе, од дихања духа гнева Твог.
15(18-16) And the channels of waters appeared, and the foundations of the world were laid bare, at Thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of Thy nostrils.
16Тада пружи с висине руку, ухвати ме, извуче ме из воде велике.
16(18-17) He sent from on high, He took me; He drew me out of many waters.
17Избави ме од непријатеља мог силног и од мојих ненавидника, кад беху јачи од мене.
17(18-18) He delivered me from mine enemy most strong, and from them that hated me, for they were too mighty for me.
18Усташе на ме у дан невоље моје, али ми Господ би потпора.
18(18-19) They confronted me in the day of my calamity; but the LORD was a stay unto me.
19Изведе ме на пространо место, и избави ме, јер сам Му мио.
19(18-20) He brought me forth also into a large place; He delivered me, because He delighted in me.
20Даде ми Господ по правди мојој, и за чистоту руку мојих дарива ме.
20(18-21) The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath He recompensed me.
21Јер се држах путева Господњих, и не одметнух се Бога свог,
21(18-22) For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
22Него су сви закони Његови преда мном, и заповести Његове не уклањам од себе.
22(18-23) For all His ordinances were before me, and I put not away His statutes from me.
23Бих Му веран, и чувах се од безакоња свог.
23(18-24) And I was single-hearted with Him, and I kept myself from mine iniquity.
24Даде ми Господ по правди мојој, по чистоти руку мојих пред очима Његовим.
24(18-25) Therefore hath the LORD recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in His eyes.
25Са светима поступаш свето, с човеком верним верно,
25(18-26) With the merciful Thou dost show Thyself merciful, with the upright man Thou dost show Thyself upright;
26С чистим чисто, а с неваљалим насупрот њему.
26(18-27) With the pure Thou dost show Thyself pure; and with the crooked Thou dost show Thyself subtle.
27Јер Ти помажеш људима невољним, а очи поносите понижаваш.
27(18-28) For Thou dost save the afflicted people; but the haughty eyes Thou dost humble.
28Ти распаљујеш видело моје; Господ мој просветљује таму моју.
28(18-29) For Thou dost light my lamp; the LORD my God doth lighten my darkness.
29С Тобом разбијам војску, и с Богом својим скачем преко зида.
29(18-30) For by Thee I run upon a troop; and by my God do I scale a wall.
30Пут је Господњи веран, реч Господња чиста. Он је штит свима који се у Њ уздају.
30(18-31) As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried; He is a shield unto all them that take refuge in Him.
31Јер ко је Бог осим Господа, и ко је одбрана осим Бога нашег?
31(18-32) For who is God, save the LORD? And who is a Rock, except our God?
32Овај Бог опасује ме снагом, и чини ми веран пут.
32(18-33) The God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way straight;
33Даје ми ноге као у јелена, и на висине ставља ме.
33(18-34) Who maketh my feet like hinds', and setteth me upon my high places;
34Учи руке моје боју, и мишице моје чини да су лук од бронзе.
34(18-35) Who traineth my hands for war, so that mine arms do bend a bow of brass.
35Ти ми дајеш штит спасења свог; десница Твоја држи ме, и милост Твоја чини ме велика.
35(18-36) Thou hast also given me Thy shield of salvation, and Thy right hand hath holden me up; and Thy condescension hath made me great.
36Ти шириш корак мој, те се не спотичу ноге моје.
36(18-37) Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, and my feet have not slipped.
37Терам непријатеље своје и стижем их, и не враћам се док их не истребим.
37(18-38) I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them; neither did I turn back till they were consumed.
38Обарам их, и не могу устати, падају под ноге моје.
38(18-39) I have smitten them through, so that they are not able to rise; they are fallen under my feet.
39Јер ме Ти опасујеш снагом за бој, и који устану на ме, обараш их преда мном.
39(18-40) For Thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle; Thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.
40Непријатеља мојих плећи Ти ми обраћаш, и потирем ненавиднике своје.
40(18-41) Thou hast also made mine enemies turn their backs unto me, and I did cut off them that hate me.
41Они вичу, али немају помагача, ка Господу, али их Он не слуша.
41(18-42) They cried, but there was none to save; even unto the LORD, but He answered them not.
42Расипам их као прах по ветру, као блато по улицама газим их.
42(18-43) Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind; I did cast them out as the mire of the streets.
43Ти ме избављаш од буне народне, постављаш ме да сам глава туђим племенима; народ ког не познавах, служи ми.
43(18-44) Thou hast delivered me from the contentions of the people; Thou hast made me the head of the nations; a people whom I have not known serve me.
44По самом чувењу слушају ме, туђини покорни су ми.
44(18-45) As soon as they hear of me, they obey me; the sons of the stranger dwindle away before me.
45Туђини бледе, дрхћу у градовима својим.
45(18-46) The sons of the stranger fade away, and come trembling out of their close places.
46Жив је Господ, и да је благословен бранич мој! Да се узвиси Бог спасења мог,
46(18-47) The LORD liveth, and blessed be my Rock; and exalted be the God of my salvation;
47Бог, који ми даје освету, и покорава ми народе,
47(18-48) Even the God that executeth vengeance for me, and subdueth peoples under me.
48Који ме избавља од непријатеља, подиже ме над оне који устају на ме и од човека жестоког избавља ме!
48(18-49) He delivereth me from mine enemies; yea, Thou liftest me up above them that rise up against me; Thou deliverest me from the violent man.
49Тога ради хвалим Те, Господе, пред народима, и певам имену Твом,
49(18-50) Therefore I will give thanks unto Thee, O LORD, among the nations, and will sing praises unto Thy name.
50Који славно избављаш цара свог, и чиниш милост помазанику свом Давиду и наслеђу његовом довека.
50(18-51) Great salvation giveth He to His king; and showeth mercy to His anointed, to David and to his seed, for evermore.
