1Хвалите Господа, јер је добар, јер је довека милост Његова.
1Hallelujah. O give thanks unto the LORD; for He is good; for His mercy endureth for ever.
2Ко ће исказати силу Господњу? Испричати сву славу Његову?
2Who can express the mighty acts of the LORD, or make all His praise to be heard?
3Благо онима који држе истину и творе право свагда!
3Happy are they that keep justice, that do righteousness at all times.
4Опомени ме се, Господе, по својој милости к народу свом; походи ме помоћу својом,
4Remember me, O LORD, when Thou favourest Thy people; O think of me at Thy salvation;
5Да бих видео у добру изабране Твоје, веселио се у весељу народа Твог, хвалио се заједно с наследством Твојим.
5That I may behold the prosperity of Thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of Thy nation, that I may glory with Thine inheritance.
6Згрешисмо с оцима својим, постасмо кривци, безаконици.
6We have sinned with our fathers, we have done iniquitously, we have dealt wickedly.
7Оци наши у Мисиру не разумеше чудеса Твојих, не опомињаше се великих милости Твојих, и викаше крај мора, крај Црвеног Мора.
7Our fathers in Egypt gave no heed unto Thy wonders; they remembered not the multitude of Thy mercies; but were rebellious at the sea, even at the Red Sea.
8Али им Он поможе имена свог ради, да би показао силу своју.
8Nevertheless He saved them for His name's sake, that He might make His mighty power to be known.
9Запрети Црвеном Мору, и пресахну; и преведе их преко бездане као преко пустиње;
9And He rebuked the Red Sea, and it was dried up; and He led them through the depths, as through a wilderness.
10И сачува их од руке ненавидникове, и избави их из руке непријатељеве.
10And He saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
11Покри вода непријатеље њихове, ниједан од њих не оста.
11And the waters covered their adversaries; there was not one of them left.
12Тада вероваше речима Његовим, и певаше Му хвалу.
12Then believed they His words; they sang His praise.
13Али брзо заборавише дела Његова, и не почекаше воље Његове.
13They soon forgot His works; they waited not for His counsel;
14Полакомише се у пустињи, и стадоше кушати Бога у земљи где се не живи.
14But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tried God in the desert.
15Он испуни молбу њихову, али посла погибао на душу њихову.
15And He gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.
16Позавидеше Мојсију и Арону, ког беше Господ осветио.
16They were jealous also of Moses in the camp, and of Aaron the holy one of the LORD.
17Раседе се земља, и прождре Датана и затрпа чету Авиронову.
17The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram.
18И спали огањ чету њихову, и пламен сажеже безбожнике.
18And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.
19Начинише теле код Хорива, и клањаху се кипу.
19They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped a molten image.
20Мењаху славу своју на прилику вола, који једе траву.
20Thus they exchanged their glory for the likeness of an ox that eateth grass.
21Заборавише Бога, Спаситеља свог, који је учинио велика дела у Мисиру,
21They forgot God their saviour, who had done great things in Egypt;
22Дивна у земљи Хамовој, страшна на Црвеном Мору.
22Wondrous works in the land of Ham, terrible things by the Red Sea.
23И хтеде их истребити, да Мојсије изабраник Његов не стаде као у раселини пред Њим, и не одврати јарост Његову да их не истреби.
23Therefore He said that He would destroy them, had not Moses His chosen stood before Him in the breach, to turn back His wrath, lest He should destroy them.
24После не марише за земљу жељену, не вероваше речи Његовој.
24Moreover, they scorned the desirable land, they believed not His word;
25Побунише се у шаторима својим, не слушаше глас Господњи.
25And they murmured in their tents, they hearkened not unto the voice of the LORD.
26И Он подиже руку своју на њих, да их побије у пустињи,
26Therefore He swore concerning them, that He would overthrow them in the wilderness;
27Да побије племе њихово међу народима, и расеје их по земљама.
27And that He would cast out their seed among the nations, and scatter them in the lands.
28И присташе за Велфегором, и једоше принесено на жртву мртвима.
28They joined themselves also unto Baal of Peor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
29И расрдише Бога делима својим, и удари у њих погибао.
29Thus they provoked Him with their doings, and the plague broke in upon them.
30И устаде Финес, и умилостиви, и престаде погибао.
30Then stood up Phinehas, and wrought judgment, and so the plague was stayed.
31И то му се прими у правду, од колена до колена довека.
31And that was counted unto him for righteousness, unto all generations for ever.
32И разгневише Бога на води Мериви, и Мојсије пострада њих ради;
32They angered Him also at the waters of Meribah, and it went ill with Moses because of them;
33Јер дотужише духу његовом, и погреши устима својим.
33For they embittered his spirit, and he spoke rashly with his lips.
34Не истребише народе, за које им је Господ рекао;
34They did not destroy the peoples, as the LORD commanded them;
35Него се помешаше с незнабошцима, и научише дела њихова.
35But mingled themselves with the nations, and learned their works;
36Стадоше служити идолима њиховим, и они им бише замка.
36And they served their idols, which became a snare unto them;
37Синове своје и кћери своје приносише на жртву ђаволима.
37Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto demons,
38Проливаше крв праву; крв синова својих и кћери својих, које приношаху на жртву идолима хананским, и оскврни се земља крвним делима.
38And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan; and the land was polluted with blood.
39Оскврнише себе делима својим, и чинише прељубу поступањем својим.
39Thus were they defiled with their works, and went astray in their doings.
40И плану гнев Господњи на народ Његов, и омрзну Му део Његов.
40Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against His people, and He abhorred His inheritance.
41И предаде их у руке незнабожачке, и ненавидници њихови стадоше господарити над њима.
41And He gave them into the hand of the nations; and they that hated them ruled over them.
42Досађиваше им непријатељи њихови, и они бише покорени под власт њихову.
42Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were subdued under their hand.
43Много их је пута избављао, али Га они срдише намерама својим, и бише поништени за безакоње своје.
43Many times did He deliver them; but they were rebellious in their counsel, and sank low through their iniquity.
44Али Он погледа на невољу њихову, чувши тужњаву њихову,
44Nevertheless He looked upon their distress, when He heard their cry;
45И опомену се завета свог с њима, и покаја се по великој милости својој;
45And He remembered for them His covenant, and repented according to the multitude of His mercies.
46И учини, те их стадоше жалити сви који их беху заробили.
46He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captive.
47Спаси нас, Господе Боже наш, и покупи нас из незнабожаца, да славимо свето име Твоје, да се хвалимо Твојом славом!
47Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the nations, that we may give thanks unto Thy holy name, that we may triumph in Thy praise.
48Благословен Господ Бог Израиљев од века и довека! И сав народ нека каже: Амин! Алилуја!
48Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting even to everlasting, and let all the people say: 'Amen.' Hallelujah.
