1Услиши, Господе, правду, чуј глас мој, прими у уши молитву моју не из уста лажљивих.
1A Prayer of David. Hear the right, O LORD, attend unto my cry; give ear unto my prayer from lips without deceit.
2Од лица Твог нека изађе суд мој, очи Твоје нека погледају на правицу.
2Let my judgment come forth from Thy presence; let Thine eyes behold equity.
3Испитај срце моје, обиђи ноћу; у огњу ме окушај, и нећеш наћи неправде моје.
3Thou hast tried my heart, Thou hast visited it in the night; Thou hast tested me, and Thou findest not that I had a thought which should not pass my mouth.
4Уста се моја не дохватају дела људских; ради речи уста Твојих држим се путева оштрих.
4As for the doings of men, by the word of Thy lips I have kept me from the ways of the violent.
5Утврди стопе моје на стазама својим да не залазе кораци моји.
5My steps have held fast to Thy paths, my feet have not slipped.
6Тебе призивам, јер ћеш ме услишити Боже! Пригни к мени ухо своје, и чуј речи моје.
6As for me, I call upon Thee, for Thou wilt answer me, O God; incline Thine ear unto me, hear my speech.
7Покажи дивну милост своју, који избављаш оне који се у Те уздају од оних који се противе десници Твојој.
7Make passing great Thy mercies, O Thou that savest by Thy right hand from assailants them that take refuge in Thee.
8Чувај ме као зеницу ока; сеном крила својих заклони ме
8Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me in the shadow of Thy wings,
9Од безбожника који ме нападају, од непријатеља душе моје, који су ме опколили.
9From the wicked that oppress, my deadly enemies, that compass me about.
10Срце своје затворише; устима својим говоре охоло.
10Their gross heart they have shut tight, with their mouth they speak proudly.
11Изагнавши ме опет су око мене; очи су своје упрли да ме оборе на земљу.
11At our every step they have now encompassed us; they set their eyes to cast us down to the earth.
12Они су као лав који хоће да растрже, и као лавић који седи у потаји.
12He is like a lion that is eager to tear in pieces, and like a young lion lurking in secret places.
13Устани, Господе, претеци их, обори их. Одбрани душу моју мачем својим од безбожника,
13Arise, O LORD, confront him, cast him down; deliver my soul from the wicked, by Thy sword;
14Руком својом, Господе, од људи ових, од људи овог света, којима је део овај живот, којима си трбух напунио свог богатства, да ће им и синови бити сити и остатак оставити својој деци.
14From men, by Thy hand, O LORD, from men of the world, whose portion is in this life, and whose belly Thou fillest with Thy treasure; who have children in plenty, and leave their abundance to their babes.
15А ја ћу у правди гледати лице Твоје; кад се пробудим, бићу сит од прилике Твоје.
15As for me, I shall behold Thy face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with Thy likeness.
