1Ha-lê-lu-gia! Phước cho người nào kính sợ Đức Giê-hô-va, Rất ưa thích điều răn Ngài!
1Hallelujah. Happy is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in His commandments.
2Con cháu người sẽ cường thạnh trên đất; Dòng dõi người ngay thẳng sẽ được phước.
2His seed shall be mighty upon earth; the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
3Của cải và giàu có đều ở trong nhà người, Và sự công bình người còn đến đời đời.
3Wealth and riches are in his house; and his merit endureth for ever.
4Aùnh sáng soi nơi tối tăm cho người ngay thẳng. Người hay làm ơn, có lòng thương xót, và là công bình.
4Unto the upright He shineth as a light in the darkness, gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
5Phước cho người nào hay làm ơn, và cho mượn! Khi người bị kiện ắt sẽ được đoán xét cách chánh trực.
5Well is it with the man that dealeth graciously and lendeth, that ordereth his affairs rightfully.
6Người cũng chẳng hề bị lay động; Kỷ niệm người công bình còn đến đời đời.
6For he shall never be moved; the righteous shall be had in everlasting remembrance.
7Người không sợ cái tin hung; Lòng người vững bền, tin cậy nơi Đức Giê-hô-va.
7He shall not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is stedfast, trusting in the LORD.
8Lòng người kiên định, chẳng sợ chi, Cho đến khi người thấy các cừu địch mình bị báo.
8His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he gaze upon his adversaries.
9Người vải tiền tài, bố thí kẻ thiếu thốn; Sự công bình người còn đến đời đời. Sừng người sẽ được ngước lên cách vinh hiển.
9He hath scattered abroad, he hath given to the needy; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted in honour.
10Kẻ ác sẽ thấy, bèn tức giận, Nghiến răng, và bị tiêu tan; Sự ước ao của kẻ ác sẽ hư mất đi.
10The wicked shall see it, and be vexed; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away; the desire of the wicked shall perish.
