1La Eternulo estas mia paŝtisto; mi mankon ne havos.
1A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2Sur verdaj herbejoj Li ripozigas min, Apud trankvilaj akvoj Li kondukas min.
2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters.
3Li kvietigas mian animon; Li kondukas min laŭ vojo de la vero, pro Sia nomo.
3He restoreth my soul; He guideth me in straight paths for His name's sake.
4Eĉ kiam mi iros tra valo de densa mallumo, Mi ne timos malbonon, ĉar Vi estas kun mi; Via bastono kaj apogiĝilo trankviligos min.
4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me.
5Vi kovras por mi tablon antaŭ miaj malamikoj; Vi ŝmiris per oleo mian kapon, mia pokalo estas plenigita.
5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou hast anointed my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6Nur bono kaj favoro sekvos min en la daŭro de mia tuta vivo; Kaj mi restos en la domo de la Eternulo eterne.
6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
