1Haleluja! Ĉar estas bone kanti al nia Dio, Ĉar agrabla estas la glorkantado.
1Hallelujah; for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant, and praise is comely.
2La Eternulo konstruas Jerusalemon, La elpelitojn de Izrael Li kolektas.
2The LORD doth build up Jerusalem, He gathereth together the dispersed of Israel;
3Li sanigas la korprematojn Kaj bandaĝas iliajn vundojn.
3Who healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
4Li kalkulas la stelojn, Kaj al ili ĉiuj Li donas nomojn.
4He counteth the number of the stars; He giveth them all their names.
5Granda estas nia Sinjoro kaj tre forta; Lia saĝo estas nemezurebla.
5Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite.
6La Eternulo altigas la humilulojn; Sed la malvirtulojn Li malaltigas ĝis la tero.
6The LORD upholdeth the humble; He bringeth the wicked down to the ground.
7Kantu al la Eternulo gloradon, Muziku al nia Dio per harpo.
7Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving, sing praises upon the harp unto our God;
8Li kovras la ĉielon per nuboj, Pretigas por la tero pluvon, Kreskigas sur la montoj herbon.
8Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh the mountains to spring with grass.
9Li donas al la bruto ĝian nutraĵon, Kaj al la korvidoj, kiuj krias.
9He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.
10Ne la forton de ĉevalo Li ŝatas; Ne la femuroj de homo al Li plaĉas:
10He delighteth not in the strength of the horse; He taketh no pleasure in the legs of a man.
11Plaĉas al la Eternulo Liaj timantoj, Kiuj fidas Lian bonecon.
11The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear Him, in those that wait for His mercy.
12Laŭdu, ho Jerusalem, la Eternulon; Gloru vian Dion, ho Cion.
12Glorify the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion.
13Ĉar Li fortikigis la riglilojn en viaj pordegoj, Li benis viajn filojn interne de vi.
13For He hath made strong the bars of thy gates; He hath blessed thy children within thee.
14Li donas pacon al viaj limoj, Li satigas vin per la plej bona el la tritiko.
14He maketh thy borders peace; He giveth thee in plenty the fat of wheat.
15Li sendas Sian ordonon al la tero; Tre rapide kuras Lia vorto.
15He sendeth out His commandment upon earth; His word runneth very swiftly.
16Li donas neĝon kiel lanon, Li ŝutas prujnon kiel cindron.
16He giveth snow like wool; He scattereth the hoar-frost like ashes.
17Li ĵetas Sian glacion kiel pecojn; Kiu kontraŭstaros al Lia frosto?
17He casteth forth His ice like crumbs; who can stand before His cold?
18Li sendas Sian vorton, kaj ĉio degelas; Li blovas per Sia vento, kaj ekfluas akvo.
18He sendeth forth His word, and melteth them; He causeth His wind to blow, and the waters flow.
19Li sciigas al Jakob Sian vorton, Siajn leĝojn kaj decidojn al Izrael.
19He declareth His word unto Jacob, His statutes and His ordinances unto Israel.
20Tiel Li ne faras al iu alia popolo; Kaj Liajn decidojn ili ne scias. Haleluja!
20He hath not dealt so with any nation; and as for His ordinances, they have not known them. Hallelujah.
