1Ho Eternulo, aŭskultu mian preĝon, Atentu mian petegon laŭ Via vereco, Respondu al mi laŭ Via justeco.
1A Psalm of David. O LORD, hear my prayer, give ear to my supplications; in Thy faithfulness answer me, and in Thy righteousness.
2Kaj ne eniru en juĝon kun Via sklavo, Ĉar neniu vivanta povos praviĝi antaŭ Vi.
2And enter not into judgment with Thy servant; for in Thy sight shall no man living be justified.
3Ĉar malamiko persekutis mian animon, Premis al la tero mian vivon; Li metis min en mallumon, kiel delonge mortintojn.
3For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he hath crushed my life down to the ground; he hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead.
4Senfortiĝas en mi mia animo, Konsumiĝas en mi mia koro.
4And my spirit fainteth within me; my heart within me is appalled.
5Mi rememoras la tagojn antikvajn, Mi meditas pri ĉiuj Viaj faroj, Mi pensas pri la faritaĵoj de Viaj manoj.
5I remember the days of old; I meditate on all Thy doing; I muse on the work of Thy hands.
6Mi etendas al Vi miajn manojn; Mia animo soifas Vin kiel seka tero. Sela.
6I spread forth my hands unto Thee; my soul thirsteth after Thee, as a weary land. Selah
7Rapidu, aŭskultu min, ho Eternulo, mia spirito konsumiĝas; Ne kaŝu antaŭ mi Vian vizaĝon, Ĉar mi similiĝus al la forirantaj en la tombon.
7Answer me speedily, O LORD, my spirit faileth; hide not Thy face from me; lest I become like them that go down into the pit.
8Aŭdigu al mi matene Vian bonecon, Ĉar Vin mi fidas; Montru al mi la vojon, kiun mi devas iri, Ĉar al Vi mi levas mian animon.
8Cause me to hear Thy lovingkindness in the morning, for in Thee do I trust; cause me to know the way wherein I should walk, for unto Thee have I lifted up my soul.
9Savu min de miaj malamikoj, ho Eternulo; Al Vi mi rifuĝas.
9Deliver me from mine enemies, O LORD; with Thee have I hidden myself.
10Instruu al mi plenumi Vian volon, ĉar Vi estas mia Dio; Via bona spirito gvidu min sur ebena tero.
10Teach me to do Thy will, for Thou art my God; let Thy good spirit lead me in an even land.
11Pro Via nomo, ho Eternulo, lasu min vivi; Pro Via justeco eligu mian animon el mizero.
11For Thy name's sake, O LORD, quicken me; in Thy righteousness bring my soul out of trouble.
12Kaj pro Via favorkoreco ekstermu miajn malamikojn Kaj pereigu ĉiujn premantojn de mia animo, Ĉar mi estas Via sklavo.
12And in Thy mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that harass my soul; for I am Thy servant.
