1Al Vi, ho Eternulo, mi vokas; Mia Roko, ne silentu al mi; Se Vi silentos al mi, mi similiĝos al tiuj, Kiuj iras en la tombon.
1A Psalm of David. Unto thee, O LORD, do I call; my Rock, be not Thou deaf unto me; lest, if Thou be silent unto me, I become like them that go down into the pit.
2Aŭskultu la voĉon de mia petego, kiam mi krias al Vi, Kiam mi levas miajn manojn al Via plejsanktejo.
2Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto Thee, when I lift up my hands toward Thy holy Sanctuary.
3Ne kunpereigu min kune kun malpiuloj, kaj kun krimfarantoj, Kiuj parolas pace kun siaj proksimuloj, Dum malbono estas en ilia koro.
3Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity; who speak peace with their neighbours, but evil is in their hearts.
4Redonu al ili laŭ iliaj faroj kaj laŭ iliaj malbonaj agoj; Laŭ la faroj de iliaj manoj redonu al ili; Redonu al ili, kion ili meritas.
4Give them according to their deeds, and according to the evil of their endeavours; give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.
5Ĉar ili ne atentas la agojn de la Eternulo Kaj la farojn de Liaj manoj, Li disbatos ilin kaj ne rekonstruos.
5Because they give no heed to the works of the LORD, nor to the operation of His hands; He will break them down and not build them up.
6Glorata estu la Eternulo, Ĉar Li aŭskultis la voĉon de mia petego.
6Blessed be the LORD, because He hath heard the voice of my supplications.
7La Eternulo estas mia forto kaj mia ŝildo; Lin fidis mia koro, kaj Li helpis min; Tial ekĝojas mia koro, Kaj per mia kanto mi Lin gloros.
7The LORD is my strength and my shield, in Him hath my heart trusted, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth, and with my song will I praise Him.
8La Eternulo estas ilia forto, Li estas savanta forto por Sia sanktoleito.
8The LORD is a strength unto them; and He is a stronghold of salvation to His anointed.
9Helpu Vian popolon kaj benu Vian heredon, Kaj paŝtu kaj altigu ilin eterne.
9Save Thy people, and bless Thine inheritance; and tend them, and carry them for ever.
