1พระยาห์เวห์เป็นผู้เลี้ยงแกะของฉัน ฉันจะไม่ขาดสิ่งใด
1A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2พระองค์ให้ฉันนอนลงในทุ่งหญ้าเขียวขจี นำฉันไปริมน้ำสงบ
2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters.
3พระองค์ฟื้นชีวิตฉัน นำฉันไปตามทางที่เที่ยงธรรม เพราะเห็นแก่พระนามของพระองค์
3He restoreth my soul; He guideth me in straight paths for His name's sake.
4แม้เดินผ่านหุบเขาเงาความตาย ฉันก็ไม่กลัวความชั่ว เพราะพระองค์อยู่กับฉัน ไม้ตะบองและไม้เท้าของพระองค์ ทำให้ฉันอุ่นใจ
4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me.
5พระองค์จัดโต๊ะให้ฉัน ต่อหน้าศัตรูของฉัน พระองค์ชโลมศีรษะฉันด้วยน้ำมัน ถ้วยของฉันล้น
5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou hast anointed my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6แน่นอน ความดีและความรักมั่นคงจะตามฉันไปทุกวันในชีวิต และฉันจะอยู่ในบ้านของพระยาห์เวห์ตลอดไป
6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
