1จงขอบคุณพระยาห์เวห์! จงร้องเรียกพระนามของพระองค์! จงประกาศกิจการของพระองค์ท่ามกลางชนชาติต่าง ๆ
1O give thanks unto the LORD, call upon His name; make known His doings among the peoples.
2จงร้องเพลงถวายพระองค์ ร้องเพลงสรรเสริญพระองค์! เล่าถึงสิ่งอัศจรรย์ทั้งสิ้นที่พระองค์ทำ
2Sing unto Him, sing praises unto Him; speak ye of all His marvellous works.
3จงภูมิใจในพระนามบริสุทธิ์ของพระองค์ ให้ใจของผู้แสวงหาพระยาห์เวห์ชื่นบาน
3Glory ye in His holy name; let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
4จงแสวงหาพระยาห์เวห์และกำลังของพระองค์ แสวงหาใบหน้าของพระองค์เสมอไป
4Seek ye the LORD and His strength; seek His face continually.
5จงระลึกถึงกิจการอัศจรรย์ที่พระองค์ทำ ทั้งสิ่งมหัศจรรย์และคำตัดสินจากปากของพระองค์
5Remember His marvellous works that He hath done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth;
6ลูกหลานของอับราฮัมผู้รับใช้ของพระองค์เอ๋ย ลูกหลานของยาโคบผู้ที่พระองค์เลือกเอ๋ย
6O ye seed of Abraham His servant, ye children of Jacob, His chosen ones.
7พระองค์คือพระยาห์เวห์ พระเจ้าของเรา คำตัดสินของพระองค์มีอยู่ทั่วแผ่นดินโลก
7He is the LORD our God; His judgments are in all the earth.
8พระองค์ระลึกถึงพันธสัญญาของพระองค์ตลอดไป ถ้อยคำที่พระองค์บัญชาไว้ถึงพันชั่วอายุคน
8He hath remembered His covenant for ever, the word which He commanded to a thousand generations;
9คือพันธสัญญาที่ทำไว้กับอับราฮัม และคำปฏิญาณต่ออิสอัค
9The covenant which He made with Abraham, and His oath unto Isaac;
10พระองค์ยืนยันสิ่งนั้นแก่ยาโคบเป็นข้อกำหนด เป็นพันธสัญญานิรันดร์แก่อิสราเอล
10And He established it unto Jacob for a statute, to Israel for an everlasting covenant;
11ว่า “เราจะให้แผ่นดินคานาอันแก่เจ้า เป็นส่วนมรดกที่ตกแก่เจ้า”
11Saying: 'Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance.'
12ตอนนั้นพวกเขามีเพียงไม่กี่คน น้อยนิดนัก และเป็นคนต่างถิ่นในแผ่นดินนั้น
12When they were but a few men in number. Yea, very few, and sojourners in it,
13พวกเขาเร่ร่อนไปจากชนชาติหนึ่งสู่อีกชนชาติหนึ่ง จากอาณาจักรหนึ่งไปสู่อีกประชาชนหนึ่ง
13And when they went about from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people,
14พระองค์ไม่ยอมให้ใครข่มเหงพวกเขา ถึงกับตำหนิกษัตริย์เพื่อปกป้องพวกเขาว่า
14He suffered no man to do them wrong, yea, for their sake He reproved kings:
15“อย่าแตะต้องผู้ที่เราเจิมไว้! อย่าทำร้ายผู้เผยพระวจนะของเรา!”
15'Touch not Mine anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm.'
16พระองค์เรียกความอดอยากให้มาเหนือแผ่นดิน ทำลายเสบียงอาหารจนหมด
16And He called a famine upon the land; He broke the whole staff of bread.
17พระองค์ส่งชายคนหนึ่งล่วงหน้าพวกเขาไป โยเซฟถูกขายเป็นทาส
17He sent a man before them; Joseph was sold for a servant;
18เท้าของเขาถูกล่ามจนช้ำ คอถูกคล้องด้วยโซ่เหล็ก
18His feet they hurt with fetters, his person was laid in iron;
19จนถึงเวลาที่ถ้อยคำของเขาเป็นจริง ถ้อยคำของพระยาห์เวห์พิสูจน์ว่าเขาพูดจริง
19Until the time that his word came to pass, the word of the LORD tested him.
20กษัตริย์ส่งคนไปปล่อยเขา ผู้ปกครองชนชาติต่าง ๆ ให้เขาเป็นอิสระ
20The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the peoples, and set him free.
21ตั้งเขาเป็นนายเหนือราชสำนัก และเป็นผู้ดูแลทรัพย์สินทั้งหมด
21He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his possessions;
22ให้เขาอบรมบรรดาเจ้านายตามที่เห็นสมควร และสอนปัญญาแก่พวกผู้อาวุโส
22To bind his princes at his pleasure, and teach his elders wisdom.
23แล้วอิสราเอลก็เข้าไปในอียิปต์ ยาโคบไปอาศัยในแผ่นดินฮาม
23Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
24พระองค์ทำให้ประชากรของพระองค์เพิ่มจำนวนอย่างมาก และแข็งแกร่งกว่าศัตรู
24And He increased His people greatly, and made them too mighty for their adversaries.
25พระองค์หันใจของคนเหล่านั้นให้เกลียดประชากรของพระองค์ และวางอุบายต่อผู้รับใช้ของพระองค์
25He turned their heart to hate His people, to deal craftily with His servants.
26พระองค์ส่งโมเสสผู้รับใช้ของพระองค์ และอาโรนผู้ที่พระองค์เลือก
26He sent Moses His servant, and Aaron whom He had chosen.
27ทั้งสองทำสิ่งอัศจรรย์ท่ามกลางพวกเขา และสิ่งมหัศจรรย์ในแผ่นดินฮาม
27They wrought among them His manifold signs, and wonders in the land of Ham.
28พระองค์ส่งความมืดมา แล้วแผ่นดินก็มืด พวกเขาไม่ได้ขัดขืนถ้อยคำของพระองค์
28He sent darkness, and it was dark; and they rebelled not against His word.
29พระองค์เปลี่ยนน้ำของพวกเขาเป็นเลือด และฆ่าปลาของพวกเขา
29He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
30กบเต็มแผ่นดินของพวกเขา แม้แต่ในห้องของกษัตริย์
30Their land swarmed with frogs, in the chambers of their kings.
31พระองค์ตรัส ฝูงแมลงวันก็มา พร้อมตัวเหาทั่วทุกเขตแดน
31He spoke, and there came swarms of flies, and gnats in all their borders.
32พระองค์ให้ลูกเห็บแทนฝน และให้ฟ้าแลบทั่วแผ่นดิน
32He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.
33พระองค์ทำลายเถาองุ่นและต้นมะเดื่อ หักต้นไม้ทั่วดินแดนของพวกเขา
33He smote their vines also and their fig-trees; and broke the trees of their borders.
34พระองค์ตรัส ฝูงตั๊กแตนก็มา พร้อมตั๊กแตนวัยอ่อนมากมายนับไม่ถ้วน
34He spoke, and the locust came, and the canker-worm without number,
35มันกินพืชทุกชนิดในแผ่นดิน กินผลผลิตจากผืนดินจนหมด
35And did eat up every herb in their land, and did eat up the fruit of their ground.
36พระองค์ประหารบุตรหัวปีทุกคนในแผ่นดิน คือผลแรกแห่งเรี่ยวแรงของพวกเขา
36He smote also all the first-born in their land, the first-fruits of all their strength.
37แล้วพาประชากรของพระองค์ออกมาพร้อมเงินและทอง ในเผ่าของพวกเขาไม่มีใครอ่อนแรงแม้แต่คนเดียว
37And He brought them forth with silver and gold; and there was none that stumbled among His tribes.
38อียิปต์ดีใจเมื่อพวกเขาจากไป เพราะความหวาดกลัวพวกเขาครอบงำชาวอียิปต์
38Egypt was glad when they departed; for the fear of them had fallen upon them.
39พระองค์กางเมฆเป็นเครื่องกำบัง และให้ไฟส่องสว่างยามค่ำคืน
39He spread a cloud for a screen; and fire to give light in the night.
40พวกเขาขอ พระองค์ก็ส่งนกคุ่มมา และให้อิ่มด้วยอาหารจากฟ้า
40They asked, and He brought quails, and gave them in plenty the bread of heaven.
41พระองค์เปิดศิลา น้ำก็พุ่งออกมา ไหลผ่านที่แห้งแล้งเหมือนแม่น้ำ
41He opened the rock, and waters gushed out; they ran, a river in the dry places.
42เพราะพระองค์ระลึกถึงถ้อยคำบริสุทธิ์ของพระองค์ และอับราฮัมผู้รับใช้ของพระองค์
42For He remembered His holy word unto Abraham His servant;
43พระองค์พาประชากรของตนออกมาด้วยความยินดี พาผู้ที่พระองค์เลือกออกมาพร้อมเสียงร้องเพลง
43And He brought forth His people with joy, His chosen ones with singing.
44พระองค์มอบแผ่นดินของชนชาติต่าง ๆ ให้พวกเขา พวกเขาได้ครอบครองผลจากแรงงานของชนชาติอื่น
44And He gave them the lands of the nations, and they took the labour of the peoples in possession;
45เพื่อพวกเขาจะรักษากฎเกณฑ์ของพระองค์ และปฏิบัติตามบทบัญญัติของพระองค์ จงสรรเสริญพระยาห์เวห์!
45That they might keep His statutes, and observe His laws. Hallelujah.
