1อย่าร้อนใจเพราะคนทำชั่ว อย่าอิจฉาคนที่ทำความไม่ชอบธรรม
1A Psalm of David. Fret not thyself because of evil-doers, neither be thou envious against them that work unrighteousness.
2เพราะไม่นานพวกเขาจะถูกตัดเหมือนหญ้า เหี่ยวเฉาเหมือนพืชเขียว
2For they shall soon wither like the grass, and fade as the green herb.
3จงวางใจในพระยาห์เวห์ และทำความดี อาศัยอยู่ในแผ่นดิน และเพลิดเพลินกับทุ่งหญ้าที่ปลอดภัย
3Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land, and cherish faithfulness.
4จงชื่นชมยินดีในพระยาห์เวห์ แล้วพระองค์จะให้สิ่งที่ใจท่านปรารถนา
4So shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and He shall give thee the petitions of thy heart.
5ฝากเส้นทางชีวิตไว้กับพระยาห์เวห์ วางใจในพระองค์ แล้วพระองค์จะลงมือทำ
5Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in Him, and He will bring it to pass.
6พระองค์จะทำให้ความชอบธรรมของท่านส่องออกมาดุจแสง และความยุติธรรมแจ่มชัดดุจแดดเที่ยงวัน
6And He will make thy righteousness to go forth as the light, and thy right as the noonday.
7จงสงบนิ่งต่อพระยาห์เวห์ และรอพระองค์อย่างอดทน อย่าร้อนใจเพราะคนที่รุ่งเรืองในทางของตน หรือเพราะคนที่ทำแผนชั่วให้สำเร็จ
7Resign thyself unto the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
8จงเลิกโกรธและละความเดือดดาล อย่าร้อนใจ เพราะมันมีแต่จะพาไปทำชั่ว
8Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; fret not thyself, it tendeth only to evil-doing.
9คนทำชั่วจะถูกตัดออก แต่คนที่เฝ้ารอพระยาห์เวห์จะได้รับแผ่นดินเป็นมรดก
9For evil-doers shall be cut off; but those that wait for the LORD, they shall inherit the land.
10อีกไม่นาน คนชั่วจะไม่มีอีก มองหาที่ของเขา ก็ไม่พบแล้ว
10And yet a little while, and the wicked is no more; yea, thou shalt look well at his place, and he is not.
11แต่คนถ่อมใจจะได้รับแผ่นดินเป็นมรดก และชื่นชมกับสันติสุขอันล้นเหลือ
11But the humble shall inherit the land, and delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
12คนชั่ววางแผนเล่นงานคนชอบธรรม ขบเขี้ยวเคี้ยวฟันใส่เขา
12The wicked plotteth against the righteous, and gnasheth at him with his teeth.
13องค์เจ้านายหัวเราะเยาะเขา เพราะเห็นว่าวันของเขากำลังมาถึง
13The Lord doth laugh at him; for He seeth that his day is coming.
14คนชั่วชักดาบและโก่งคันธนู เพื่อโค่นคนยากจนและขัดสน เพื่อฆ่าคนที่เดินในทางซื่อตรง
14The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow; to cast down the poor and needy, to slay such as are upright in the way;
15ดาบของพวกเขาจะทะลุใจตัวเอง คันธนูจะถูกหัก
15Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.
16สิ่งเล็กน้อยที่คนชอบธรรมมี ยังดีกว่าความมั่งคั่งของคนชั่วมากมาย
16Better is a little that the righteous hath than the abundance of many wicked.
17เพราะแขนของคนชั่วจะถูกหัก แต่พระยาห์เวห์ค้ำจุนคนชอบธรรม
17For the arms of the wicked shall be broken; but the LORD upholdeth the righteous.
18พระยาห์เวห์รู้วันเวลาของคนไร้ตำหนิ มรดกของพวกเขาจะอยู่ตลอดไป
18The LORD knoweth the days of them that are wholehearted; and their inheritance shall be for ever.
19พวกเขาจะไม่ผิดหวังในยามเลวร้าย ในวันอดอยากก็ยังอิ่ม
19They shall not be ashamed in the time of evil; and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
20แต่คนชั่วจะพินาศ ศัตรูของพระยาห์เวห์จะเป็นเหมือนความงามของท้องทุ่ง พวกเขาจะเลือนหาย— เลือนหายเหมือนควัน
20For the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs — they shall pass away in smoke, they shall pass away.
21คนชั่วยืมแล้วไม่คืน แต่คนชอบธรรมให้ด้วยใจกว้าง
21The wicked borroweth, and payeth not; but the righteous dealeth graciously, and giveth.
22คนที่พระองค์อวยพรจะได้รับแผ่นดินเป็นมรดก คนที่พระองค์สาปแช่งจะถูกตัดออก
22For such as are blessed of Him shall inherit the land; and they that are cursed of Him shall be cut off.
23พระยาห์เวห์ทำให้ย่างก้าวของคนมั่นคง พระองค์พอใจในทางของเขา
23It is of the LORD that a man's goings are established; and He delighted in his way.
24แม้สะดุด เขาก็ไม่ล้มลง เพราะพระยาห์เวห์ใช้มือพยุงเขาไว้
24Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the LORD upholdeth his hand.
25ฉันเคยเป็นหนุ่ม และตอนนี้แก่แล้ว แต่ไม่เคยเห็นคนชอบธรรมถูกทอดทิ้ง หรือลูกหลานของเขาต้องขออาหารกิน
25I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
26เขาเมตตาและให้ยืมอยู่ตลอดวัน ลูกหลานของเขาได้รับพร
26All the day long he dealeth graciously, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.
27จงหันจากความชั่ว แล้วทำความดี แล้วจะอยู่อย่างมั่นคงตลอดไป
27Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.
28เพราะพระยาห์เวห์รักความยุติธรรม และไม่ทอดทิ้งผู้ภักดีของพระองค์ พวกเขาได้รับการรักษาไว้ตลอดไป แต่ลูกหลานของคนชั่วจะถูกตัดออก
28For the LORD loveth justice, and forsaketh not His saints; they are preserved for ever; but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
29คนชอบธรรมจะได้รับแผ่นดินเป็นมรดก และอาศัยอยู่ในนั้นตลอดไป
29The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.
30ปากของคนชอบธรรมพูดถึงปัญญา ลิ้นของเขาพูดความยุติธรรม
30The mouth of the righteous uttereth wisdom, and his tongue speaketh justice.
31บทบัญญัติของพระเจ้าของเขาอยู่ในใจ ย่างก้าวของเขาจะไม่ลื่นไถล
31The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps slide.
32คนชั่วจับตาดูคนชอบธรรม และหาทางฆ่าเขา
32The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him.
33พระยาห์เวห์จะไม่ปล่อยเขาไว้ในมือคนชั่ว และจะไม่ตัดสินให้เขาผิดเมื่อถูกพิพากษา
33The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor suffer him to be condemned when he is judged.
34จงเฝ้ารอพระยาห์เวห์ และรักษาทางของพระองค์ พระองค์จะยกท่านขึ้นให้ได้รับแผ่นดินเป็นมรดก เมื่อคนชั่วถูกตัดออก ท่านจะเห็นกับตา
34Wait for the LORD, and keep His way, and He will exalt thee to inherit the land; when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.
35ฉันเคยเห็นคนชั่วผู้มีอำนาจมาก แผ่กิ่งก้านเหมือนต้นไม้เขียวในผืนดินของตัวเอง
35I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a leafy tree in its native soil.
36แต่พอเขาผ่านไป เขาก็ไม่มีแล้ว ตามหา แต่หาไม่พบ
36But one passed by, and, lo, he was not; yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.
37จงสังเกตคนไร้ตำหนิ และมองดูคนซื่อตรง เพราะคนรักสันติมีอนาคต
37Mark the man of integrity, and behold the upright; for there is a future for the man of peace.
38แต่คนล่วงละเมิดจะถูกทำลายพร้อมกัน อนาคตของคนชั่วจะถูกตัดขาด
38But transgressors shall be destroyed together; the future of the wicked shall be cut off.
39ความรอดของคนชอบธรรมมาจากพระยาห์เวห์ พระองค์คือที่มั่นของพวกเขาในยามทุกข์
39But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD; He is their stronghold in the time of trouble.
40พระยาห์เวห์ช่วยและกู้พวกเขา ช่วยให้พ้นจากคนชั่วและช่วยให้รอด เพราะพวกเขาลี้ภัยในพระองค์
40And the LORD helpeth them, and delivereth them; He delivereth them from the wicked, and saveth them, because they have taken refuge in Him.
