1ไม่ใช่เพื่อเรา พระยาห์เวห์ ไม่ใช่เพื่อเรา แต่ขอให้พระนามของพระองค์ได้รับเกียรติ เพราะความรักมั่นคงและความจริงของพระองค์

1Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto Thy name give glory, for Thy mercy, and for Thy truth's sake.

2ทำไมชนชาติต่าง ๆ จึงพูดว่า “ตอนนี้พระเจ้าของพวกเขาอยู่ที่ไหน?”

2Wherefore should the nations say: 'Where is now their God?'

3แต่พระเจ้าของเราอยู่ในฟ้าสวรรค์ พระองค์ทำทุกสิ่งตามที่พอใจ

3But our God is in the heavens; whatsoever pleased Him He hath done.

4รูปเคารพของพวกเขาเป็นเงินและทอง เป็นผลงานจากมือมนุษย์

4Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.

5มีปาก แต่พูดไม่ได้ มีตา แต่มองไม่เห็น

5They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;

6มีหู แต่ไม่ได้ยิน มีจมูก แต่ไม่ได้กลิ่น

6They have ears, but they hear not; noses have they, but they smell not;

7มีมือ แต่สัมผัสสิ่งใดไม่ได้ มีเท้า แต่เดินไม่ได้ แม้ลำคอก็เปล่งเสียงไม่ได้

7They have hands, but they handle not; feet have they, but they walk not; neither speak they with their throat.

8คนที่สร้างรูปเหล่านั้นจะเป็นเหมือนสิ่งที่ตนสร้าง ทุกคนที่วางใจในรูปเหล่านั้นก็เช่นกัน

8They that make them shall be like unto them; yea, every one that trusteth in them.

9อิสราเอล จงวางใจในพระยาห์เวห์! พระองค์คือผู้ช่วยและโล่ของพวกเขา

9O Israel, trust thou in the LORD! He is their help and their shield!

10เชื้อสายของอาโรน จงวางใจในพระยาห์เวห์! พระองค์คือผู้ช่วยและโล่ของพวกเขา

10O house of Aaron, trust ye in the LORD! He is their help and their shield!

11ผู้ที่ยำเกรงพระยาห์เวห์ จงวางใจในพระยาห์เวห์! พระองค์คือผู้ช่วยและโล่ของพวกเขา

11Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield.

12พระยาห์เวห์ทรงระลึกถึงเรา พระองค์จะทรงอวยพรเรา จะทรงอวยพรเชื้อสายอิสราเอล จะทรงอวยพรเชื้อสายอาโรน

12The LORD hath been mindful of us, He will bless — He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron.

13จะทรงอวยพรผู้ที่ยำเกรงพระยาห์เวห์ ทั้งผู้น้อยและผู้ใหญ่

13He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great.

14ขอพระยาห์เวห์ทรงให้พวกท่านเจริญเพิ่มพูนยิ่งขึ้น ทั้งพวกท่านและลูกหลาน

14The LORD increase you more and more, you and your children.

15พวกท่านได้รับพรจากพระยาห์เวห์ ผู้ทรงสร้างฟ้าสวรรค์และแผ่นดินโลก

15Blessed be ye of the LORD who made heaven and earth.

16ฟ้าสวรรค์เป็นของพระยาห์เวห์ แต่แผ่นดินโลก พระองค์ประทานแก่มนุษย์

16The heavens are the heavens of the LORD; but the earth hath He given to the children of men.

17คนตายไม่สรรเสริญพระยาห์เวห์ ทั้งคนที่ลงไปสู่ความเงียบก็เช่นกัน

17The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence;

18แต่เราจะยกย่องพระยาห์เวห์ ตั้งแต่บัดนี้และตลอดไป จงสรรเสริญพระยาห์เวห์!

18But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and for ever. Hallelujah.
