3Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech;
4โนอาห์ เชม ฮาม และยาเฟท
4Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
5บุตรของยาเฟท ได้แก่ โกเมอร์ มาโกก มาดัย ยาวาน ทูบัล เมเชค และทิราส
5The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
6บุตรของโกเมอร์ ได้แก่ อัชเคนัส ดิฟัท และโทการมาห์
6And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, and Diphath, and Togarmah.
7บุตรของยาวาน ได้แก่ เอลีชาห์ ทารชิช คิททิม และโรดานิม
7And the sons of Javan: Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Rodanim.
8บุตรของฮาม ได้แก่ คูช มิสราอิม พูต และคานาอัน
8The sons of Ham: Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
9บุตรของคูช ได้แก่ เสบา ฮาวิลาห์ สับทา ราอามา และสับเทคา ส่วนบุตรของราอามาคือเชบาและเดดาน
9And the sons of Cush: Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raama, and Sabteca. And the sons of Raama: Sheba, and Dedan.
10คูชมีบุตรชื่อนิมโรด เขาเริ่มมีอำนาจยิ่งใหญ่บนแผ่นดิน
10And Cush begot Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
11มิสราอิมเป็นต้นตระกูลของลูดิม อานามิม เลหาบิม นัฟทูฮิม
11And Mizraim begot Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
12ปัทรุสิม คัสลูฮิม (ชาวฟีลิสเตียมาจากพวกนี้) และคัฟโทริม
12and Pathrusim, and Casluhim — from whence came the Philistines — and Caphtorim.
13คานาอันมีบุตรหัวปีชื่อไซดอน อีกคนคือเฮท
13And Canaan begot Zidon his first-born, and Heth;

14and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite;

16and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.

17The Sons of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.
18อาร์ปัคชาดเป็นบิดาของเชลาห์ และเชลาห์เป็นบิดาของเอเบอร์
18And Arpachshad begot Shelah, and Shelah begot Eber.
19เอเบอร์มีบุตรชาย 2 คน คนหนึ่งชื่อเปเลก เพราะในสมัยของเขาแผ่นดินถูกแบ่งออก อีกคนชื่อโยกทาน
19And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.
20โยกทานเป็นบิดาของอัลโมดาด เชเลฟ ฮาซาร์มาเวท เยราห์
20And Joktan begot Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah;
21ฮาโดราม อูซาล ดิคลา
21and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah;
22เอบาล อาบีมาเอล เชบา
22and Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba;
23โอฟีร์ ฮาวิลาห์ และโยบับ ทั้งหมดนี้เป็นบุตรของโยกทาน
23and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.
24เชม อาร์ปัคชาด เชลาห์
24Shem, Arpachshad, Shelah;
25เอเบอร์ เปเลก เรอู
25Eber, Peleg, Reu;
26เสรุก นาโฮร์ เทราห์
26Serug, Nahor, Terah;
27อับราม ซึ่งมีอีกชื่อว่าอับราฮัม
27Abram — the same is Abraham.
28บุตรของอับราฮัมคืออิสอัคและอิชมาเอล
28The sons of Abraham: Isaac, and Ishmael.
29เชื้อสายของทั้งสองมีดังนี้ อิชมาเอลมีบุตรหัวปีชื่อเนบาโยท ถัดมาคือเคดาร์ อัดเบเอล มิบบสัม
29These are their generations: the first-born of Ishmael, Nebaioth; then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
30มิชมา ดูมาห์ มัสสา ฮาดัด เทมา
30Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,
31เยทูร์ นาฟิช และเคเดมาห์ คนเหล่านี้เป็นบุตรของอิชมาเอล
31Jetur, Naphish, and Kedem. These are the sons of Ishmael.
32เคทูราห์ภรรยาน้อยของอับราฮัมมีบุตรกับเขาคือศิมราน โยกชาน เมดาน มีเดียน อิชบาก และชูอาห์ ส่วนบุตรของโยกชานคือเชบาและเดดาน
32And the sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she bore Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan: Sheba, and Dedan.
33บุตรของมีเดียน ได้แก่ เอฟาห์ เอเฟอร์ ฮาโนค อาบีดา และเอลดาอาห์ ทั้งหมดนี้เป็นบุตรของเคทูราห์
33And the sons of Midian: Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the sons of Keturah.

34And Abraham begot Isaac. The sons of Isaac: Esau, and Israel.

35The sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jalam and Korah.

36The sons of Eliphaz: Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
37บุตรของเรอูเอล ได้แก่ นาหัท เศราห์ ชัมมาห์ และมิสซาห์
37The sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
38บุตรของเสอีร์ ได้แก่ โลทาน โชบาล ศิเบโอน อานาห์ ดีโชน เอเซอร์ และดีชาน
38And the sons of Seir: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
39บุตรของโลทานคือโฮรีกับโฮมาม ส่วนทิมนาเป็นพี่น้องหญิงของโลทาน
39And the sons of Lotan: Hori, and Homam; and Timna was Lotan's sister.
40บุตรของโชบาล ได้แก่ อาลียาน มานาหัท เอบาล เชฟี และโอนาม บุตรของศิเบโอนคืออัยยาห์กับอานาห์
40The sons of Shobal: Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sons of Zibeon: Aiah, and Anah.
41บุตรของอานาห์คือดีโชน บุตรของดีโชน ได้แก่ ฮัมราน เอชบาน อิทราน และเคราน
41The sons of Anah: Dishon. And the sons of Dishon: Hamran, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
42บุตรของเอเซอร์ ได้แก่ บิลฮาน ศาอาวาน และยาอาคาน บุตรของดีชานคืออูสกับอาราน
42The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zaavan, Jaakan. The sons of Dishan: Uz, and Aran.

43Now these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before their reigned any king over the children of Israel: Bela the son of Beor; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.

44And Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.

45And Jobab died, and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.
46เมื่อฮูชามสิ้นชีวิต ฮาดัดบุตรเบดัดขึ้นครองราชย์แทน ฮาดัดผู้นี้โจมตีชาวมีเดียนในทุ่งโมอับ เมืองของเขาชื่ออาวิท
46And Husham died, and Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Avith.

47And Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.

48And Samlah died, and Shaul of Rehoboth by the River reigned in his stead.

49And Shaul died, and Baal-hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.

50And Baal-hanan died, and Hadad reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Pai; and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.

51And Hadad died. And the chiefs of Edom were: the chief of Timna, the chief of Alvah, the chief of Jetheth;
52หัวหน้าเผ่าโอโฮลีบามาห์ หัวหน้าเผ่าเอลาห์ หัวหน้าเผ่าปีโนน
52the chief of Oholibamah, the chief of Elah, the chief of Pinon;
53หัวหน้าเผ่าเคนัส หัวหน้าเผ่าเทมาน หัวหน้าเผ่ามิบซาร์
53the chief of Kenaz, the chief of Teman, the chief of Mibzar;
54หัวหน้าเผ่ามักดีเอล และหัวหน้าเผ่าอีราม คนเหล่านี้เป็นหัวหน้าเผ่าเอโดม
54the chief of Magdiel, the chief of Iram. These are the chiefs of Edom.
