1วันที่ห้า เดือนที่สี่ ในปีที่สามสิบ ขณะที่ข้าพเจ้าอยู่ท่ามกลางผู้ถูกกวาดไปเป็นเชลยริมแม่น้ำเคบาร์ ท้องฟ้าก็เปิดออก และข้าพเจ้าเห็นนิมิตจากพระเจ้า
1NOW IT came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river Chebar that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.
2วันที่ห้าของเดือนนั้น ตรงกับปีที่ห้านับแต่กษัตริย์เยโฮยาคีนถูกกวาดไปเป็นเชลย
2In the fifth day of the month, which was the fifth year of king Jehoiachin's captivity,
3พระดำรัสของพระยาห์เวห์ มาถึงเอเสเคียลปุโรหิต บุตรของบูซี ในแผ่นดินของชาวเคลเดียริมแม่น้ำเคบาร์ และพระหัตถ์ของพระยาห์เวห์อยู่เหนือเขาที่นั่น
3the word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there upon him.
4ข้าพเจ้ามองดู ก็เห็นลมพายุพัดมาจากทิศเหนือ มีเมฆก้อนใหญ่พร้อมสายฟ้าแลบและแสงสว่างล้อมรอบ ใจกลางเมฆท่ามกลางไฟนั้นดูเหมือนโลหะที่กำลังเรืองแสง
4And I looked, and, behold, a stormy wind came out of the north, a great cloud, with a fire flashing up, so that a brightness was round about it; and out of the midst thereof as the colour of electrum, out of the midst of the fire.
5จากใจกลางนั้นปรากฏสิ่งที่ดูคล้ายสิ่งมีชีวิตสี่ตน รูปร่างของพวกมันคล้ายมนุษย์
5And out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance: they had the likeness of a man.
6แต่ละตนมีสี่หน้าและสี่ปีก
6And every one had four faces, and every one of them had four wings.
7ขาของพวกมันตรง ฝ่าเท้าเหมือนกีบลูกวัว และเป็นประกายเหมือนทองสัมฤทธิ์ขัดเงา
7And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot; and they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass.
8ใต้ปีกทั้งสี่ด้านมีมือเหมือนมือมนุษย์ ทั้งสี่ตนมีหน้าและปีกดังนี้
8And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and as for the faces and wings of them four,
9ปีกของพวกมันแตะกัน เมื่อเคลื่อนไปก็ไม่หันตัว ต่างตนต่างตรงไปข้างหน้า
9their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward.
10ส่วนหน้าของพวกมันนั้น ทั้งสี่มีหน้ามนุษย์ ด้านขวามีหน้าสิงโต ด้านซ้ายมีหน้าโค และยังมีหน้านกอินทรีด้วย
10As for the likeness of their faces, they had the face of a man; and they four had the face of a lion on the right side; and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four had also the face of an eagle.
11นั่นคือลักษณะหน้าของพวกมัน ปีกกางออกด้านบน แต่ละตนใช้ปีกสองข้างแตะปีกของอีกตน และอีกสองข้างคลุมลำตัว
11Thus were their faces; and their wings were stretched upward; two wings of every one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.
12ต่างตนต่างตรงไปข้างหน้า วิญญาณจะไปทางไหน พวกมันก็ไปทางนั้น โดยไม่หันตัวขณะเคลื่อนไป
12And they went every one straight forward; whither the spirit was to go, they went; they turned not when they went.
13ลักษณะของสิ่งมีชีวิตเหล่านั้นดูเหมือนถ่านไฟที่ลุกโชน เหมือนคบเพลิง ไฟเคลื่อนไปมาระหว่างสิ่งมีชีวิตเหล่านั้น ไฟนั้นสว่างจ้า และมีสายฟ้าแลบออกมาจากไฟ
13As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like coals of fire, burning like the appearance of torches; it flashed up and down among the living creatures; and there was brightness to the fire, and out of the fire went forth lightning.
14สิ่งมีชีวิตเหล่านั้นพุ่งไปและกลับมา รวดเร็วเหมือนสายฟ้าแลบ
14And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.
15ขณะที่ข้าพเจ้ามองสิ่งมีชีวิตเหล่านั้น ก็เห็นล้อหนึ่งวงอยู่บนพื้นข้างสิ่งมีชีวิตแต่ละตน รวมสี่วงตามสี่ด้าน
15Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel at the bottom hard by the living creatures, at the four faces thereof.
16ล้อเหล่านั้นมีรูปลักษณ์และโครงสร้างเหมือนพลอยเบริล ทั้งสี่วงเหมือนกัน ลักษณะและโครงสร้างดูเหมือนล้อวงหนึ่งซ้อนอยู่ในอีกวงหนึ่ง
16The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl; and they four had one likeness; and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel within a wheel.
17เมื่อล้อเคลื่อนไป มันไปได้ทั้งสี่ทิศโดยไม่ต้องหัน
17When they went, they went toward their four sides; they turned not when they went.
18ขอบล้อสูงใหญ่จนน่าเกรงขาม และขอบล้อทั้งสี่เต็มไปด้วยดวงตารอบด้าน
18As for their rings, they were high and they were dreadful; and they four had their rings full of eyes round about.
19เมื่อสิ่งมีชีวิตเคลื่อนไป ล้อก็เคลื่อนไปข้าง ๆ และเมื่อสิ่งมีชีวิตลอยขึ้นจากพื้น ล้อก็ลอยขึ้นด้วย
19And when the living creatures went, the wheels went hard by them; and when the living creatures were lifted up from the bottom, the wheels were lifted up.
20วิญญาณจะไปทางไหน พวกมันก็ไปทางนั้น และล้อก็ลอยขึ้นไปพร้อมกัน เพราะวิญญาณของสิ่งมีชีวิตอยู่ในล้อ
20Whithersoever the spirit was to go, as the spirit was to go thither, so they went; and the wheels were lifted up beside them; for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.
21เมื่อพวกมันเคลื่อนไป ล้อก็เคลื่อนไป เมื่อพวกมันหยุด ล้อก็หยุด และเมื่อพวกมันลอยขึ้นจากพื้น ล้อก็ลอยขึ้นไปพร้อมกัน เพราะวิญญาณของสิ่งมีชีวิตอยู่ในล้อ
21When those went, these went, and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up beside them; for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.
22เหนือศีรษะของสิ่งมีชีวิตมีสิ่งที่คล้ายพื้นฟ้ากางอยู่ ดูน่าเกรงขามเหมือนผลึกแก้ว
22And over the heads of the living creatures there was the likeness of a firmament, like the colour of the terrible ice, stretched forth over their heads above.
23ใต้พื้นฟ้านั้น ปีกของพวกมันเหยียดตรงเข้าหากัน แต่ละตนมีปีกสองข้างคลุมด้านหนึ่ง และอีกสองข้างคลุมลำตัวอีกด้านหนึ่ง
23And under the firmament were their wings conformable the one to the other; this one of them had two which covered, and that one of them had two which covered, their bodies.
24เมื่อพวกมันเคลื่อนไป ข้าพเจ้าได้ยินเสียงปีกดังเหมือนเสียงน้ำมหาศาล เหมือนพระสุรเสียงของพระผู้ทรงฤทธิ์ เป็นเสียงกึกก้องเหมือนเสียงกองทัพ เมื่อพวกมันหยุดก็ลดปีกลง
24And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings like the noise of great waters, like the voice of the Almighty, a noise of tumult like the noise of a host; when they stood, they let down their wings.
25มีเสียงดังมาจากเหนือพื้นฟ้าที่อยู่เหนือศีรษะพวกมัน เมื่อพวกมันหยุดก็ลดปีกลง
25For, when there was a voice above the firmament that was over their heads, as they stood, they let down their wings.
26เหนือพื้นฟ้าที่อยู่เหนือศีรษะพวกมัน มีสิ่งที่คล้ายพระที่นั่ง ดูเหมือนศิลาไพลิน และบนสิ่งที่คล้ายพระที่นั่งนั้น มีผู้หนึ่งรูปลักษณ์คล้ายมนุษย์ประทับอยู่เบื้องบน
26And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone; and upon the likeness of the throne was a likeness as the appearance of a man upon it above.
27จากบริเวณเอวขึ้นไป ข้าพเจ้าเห็นสิ่งที่ดูเหมือนโลหะเรืองแสง มีลักษณะเหมือนไฟอยู่ภายในโดยรอบ และจากเอวลงมา ข้าพเจ้าเห็นสิ่งที่ดูเหมือนไฟ มีแสงสว่างล้อมรอบพระองค์
27And I saw as the colour of electrum, as the appearance of fire round about enclosing it, from the appearance of his loins and upward; and from the appearance of his loins and downward I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and there was brightness round about him.
28แสงสว่างที่ล้อมรอบนั้นมีลักษณะเหมือนรุ้งที่ปรากฏในเมฆในวันฝนตก นี่คือลักษณะที่คล้ายความรุ่งโรจน์ของพระยาห์เวห์ เมื่อข้าพเจ้าเห็นก็ซบหน้าลง แล้วได้ยินเสียงผู้หนึ่งกำลังพูด
28As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spoke.
