1“ส่วนเจ้า มนุษย์เอ๋ย จงพยากรณ์แก่ภูเขาแห่งอิสราเอลว่า ‘ภูเขาแห่งอิสราเอลเอ๋ย จงฟังพระดำรัสของพระยาห์เวห์
1And thou, son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and say: Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD.
2พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสดังนี้ เพราะศัตรูพูดถึงพวกเจ้าว่า “สะใจ! สถานบูชาบนที่สูงแต่โบราณตกเป็นของเราแล้ว”’
2Thus saith the Lord GOD: Because the enemy hath said against you: Aha! even the ancient high places are ours in possession;
3เพราะฉะนั้นจงพยากรณ์ว่า ‘พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสดังนี้ เพราะพวกเขาทำให้พวกเจ้าร้างเปล่าและกลืนกินจากทุกด้าน เพื่อให้เป็นกรรมสิทธิ์ของประชาชาติที่เหลือ พวกเจ้าจึงกลายเป็นเรื่องที่คนพูดถึงและเป็นข่าวร้ายในหมู่ประชาชน
3therefore prophesy, and say: Thus saith the Lord GOD: Because, even because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the rest of the nations, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and the evil report of the people;
4เพราะฉะนั้น ภูเขาแห่งอิสราเอลเอ๋ย จงฟังพระดำรัสของพระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระยาห์เวห์ พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสแก่ภูเขา เนินเขา ลำธาร หุบเขา ซากร้าง และเมืองที่ถูกทอดทิ้ง ซึ่งกลายเป็นของปล้นและคำเยาะเย้ยของประชาชาติรอบข้างที่เหลืออยู่
4therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD: Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains and to the hills, to the streams and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes and to the cities that are forsaken, which are become a prey and derision to the residue of the nations that are round about;
5เพราะฉะนั้น พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสดังนี้ ด้วยไฟแห่งความหึงหวง เราได้พูดกล่าวโทษประชาชาติที่เหลือและเอโดมทั้งหมด ผู้ยึดแผ่นดินของเราเป็นกรรมสิทธิ์ด้วยความยินดีสุดใจและการดูหมิ่น เพื่อเอาไปเป็นของปล้น’
5therefore thus saith the Lord GOD: Surely in the fire of My jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the nations, and against all Edom, that have appointed My land unto themselves for a possession with the joy of all their heart, with disdain of soul, to cast it out for a prey;
6เพราะฉะนั้นจงพยากรณ์เรื่องแผ่นดินอิสราเอล และบอกภูเขา เนินเขา ลำธาร และหุบเขาว่า ‘พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสดังนี้ เราพูดด้วยความหึงหวงและความเดือดดาล เพราะพวกเจ้าต้องแบกรับความอับอายจากประชาชาติ
6therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains and to the hills, to the streams and to the valleys: Thus saith the Lord GOD: Behold, I have spoken in My jealousy and in My fury, because ye have borne the shame of the nations;
7เพราะฉะนั้น พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสดังนี้ เราปฏิญาณว่า ประชาชาติที่อยู่รอบพวกเจ้าจะต้องแบกรับความอับอายของตนเอง
7therefore thus saith the Lord GOD: I have lifted up My hand: Surely the nations that are round about you, they shall bear their shame.
8“‘“แต่พวกเจ้า ภูเขาแห่งอิสราเอล จะผลิกิ่งและออกผลให้ประชาชนอิสราเอลของเรา เพราะพวกเขาใกล้จะกลับมาแล้ว
8But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to My people Israel; for they are at hand to come.
9ดูสิ เราอยู่ฝ่ายพวกเจ้า เราจะหันมาดูแล พวกเจ้าจะถูกไถและหว่าน
9For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn unto you, and ye shall be tilled and sown;
10เราจะเพิ่มผู้คนบนพวกเจ้า คือชนอิสราเอลทั้งหมด เมืองต่าง ๆ จะมีคนอาศัย และซากร้างจะถูกสร้างขึ้นใหม่
10and I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it; and the cities shall be inhabited, and the waste places shall be builded;
11เราจะเพิ่มทั้งคนและสัตว์บนพวกเจ้า พวกเขาจะทวีจำนวนและเกิดผล เราจะให้พวกเจ้ามีคนอาศัยเหมือนแต่ก่อน และทำให้ดีกว่าในช่วงเริ่มต้น แล้วพวกเจ้าจะรู้ว่าเราคือพระยาห์เวห์
11and I will multiply upon you man and beast, and they shall increase and be fruitful; and I will cause you to be inhabited after your former estate, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
12เราจะให้มนุษย์เดินอยู่บนพวกเจ้า คือประชาชนอิสราเอลของเรา พวกเขาจะครอบครองพวกเจ้า และพวกเจ้าจะเป็นมรดกของพวกเขา จะไม่ทำให้พวกเขาสูญเสียลูกหลานอีก”
12Yea, I will cause men to walk upon you, even my people Israel, and they shall possess thee, and thou shalt be their inheritance; and thou shalt no more henceforth bereave them of children.
13“‘พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสดังนี้ เพราะคนพูดถึงพวกเจ้าว่า “เจ้าเป็นแผ่นดินที่กินคน และทำให้ชนชาติของตนสูญเสียลูกหลาน”
13Thus saith the Lord GOD: Because they say unto you: Thou land art a devourer of men, and hast been a bereaver of thy nations;
14เพราะฉะนั้นเจ้าจะไม่กินคนอีก และไม่ทำให้ชนชาติของตนสูญเสียลูกหลานอีก’ พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสดังนี้
14therefore thou shalt devour men no more, neither bereave thy nations any more, saith the Lord GOD;
15‘เราจะไม่ให้เจ้าได้ยินคำดูหมิ่นจากประชาชาติอีก เจ้าไม่ต้องแบกรับคำเยาะเย้ยจากชนชาติต่าง ๆ และจะไม่ทำให้ชนชาติของตนสะดุดอีก’ พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสดังนี้”
15neither will I suffer the shame of the nations any more to be heard against thee, neither shalt thou bear the reproach of the peoples any more, neither shalt thou cause thy nations to stumble any more, saith the Lord GOD.'
16พระดำรัสของพระยาห์เวห์มาถึงข้าพเจ้าอีกว่า
16Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:
17“มนุษย์เอ๋ย เมื่อชนอิสราเอลอาศัยอยู่ในแผ่นดินของตน พวกเขาทำให้แผ่นดินเป็นมลทินด้วยทางและการกระทำของตน ทางของพวกเขาต่อหน้าเราเหมือนความเป็นมลทินของหญิงในช่วงมีประจำเดือน
17'Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their way and by their doings; their way before Me was as the uncleanness of a woman in her impurity.
18เราจึงเทความเดือดดาลลงเหนือพวกเขา เพราะเลือดที่พวกเขาหลั่งบนแผ่นดิน และเพราะทำให้แผ่นดินเป็นมลทินด้วยรูปเคารพ
18Wherefore I poured out My fury upon them for the blood which they had shed upon the land, and because they had defiled it with their idols;
19เรากระจายพวกเขาไปท่ามกลางประชาชาติ และให้กระจัดกระจายตามดินแดนต่าง ๆ เราพิพากษาพวกเขาตามทางและการกระทำ
19and I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the countries; according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.
20เมื่อไปถึงประชาชาติต่าง ๆ พวกเขาทำให้พระนามอันศักดิ์สิทธิ์ของเราเสื่อมความศักดิ์สิทธิ์ เพราะคนพูดถึงพวกเขาว่า ‘คนเหล่านี้เป็นประชาชนของพระยาห์เวห์ แต่กลับต้องออกจากแผ่นดินของพระองค์’
20And when they came unto the nations, whither they came, they profaned My holy name; in that men said of them: These are the people of the LORD, and are gone forth out of His land.
21แต่เราใส่ใจพระนามอันศักดิ์สิทธิ์ของเรา ซึ่งชนอิสราเอลทำให้เสื่อมความศักดิ์สิทธิ์ท่ามกลางประชาชาติที่พวกเขาไปอยู่
21But I had pity for My holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations, whither they came.
22“เพราะฉะนั้นจงบอกชนอิสราเอลว่า ‘พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสดังนี้ ชนอิสราเอลเอ๋ย เราไม่ได้ทำสิ่งนี้เพื่อเห็นแก่พวกเจ้า แต่เพื่อเห็นแก่พระนามอันศักดิ์สิทธิ์ของเรา ซึ่งพวกเจ้าทำให้เสื่อมความศักดิ์สิทธิ์ท่ามกลางประชาชาติที่พวกเจ้าไปอยู่
22Therefore say unto the house of Israel: Thus saith the Lord GOD: I do not this for your sake, O house of Israel, but for My holy name, which ye have profaned among the nations, whither ye came.
23เราจะทำให้พระนามอันยิ่งใหญ่ของเราศักดิ์สิทธิ์ ซึ่งถูกทำให้เสื่อมความศักดิ์สิทธิ์ท่ามกลางประชาชาติ และพวกเจ้าเป็นผู้ทำให้เสื่อมความศักดิ์สิทธิ์ท่ามกลางพวกเขา แล้วประชาชาติจะรู้ว่าเราคือพระยาห์เวห์’ พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระยาห์เวห์ตรัส ‘เมื่อเราสำแดงความศักดิ์สิทธิ์ของเราผ่านพวกเจ้าต่อหน้าต่อตาพวกเขา
23And I will sanctify My great name, which hath been profaned among the nations, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the nations shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
24“‘“เราจะนำพวกเจ้าออกจากประชาชาติ รวบรวมจากทุกดินแดน และพากลับสู่แผ่นดินของตน
24For I will take you from among the nations, and gather you out of all the countries, and will bring you into your own land.
25เราจะพรมน้ำสะอาดเหนือพวกเจ้า แล้วพวกเจ้าจะสะอาด เราจะชำระพวกเจ้าให้พ้นจากความโสโครกและรูปเคารพทั้งหมด
25And I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean; from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
26เราจะให้ใจใหม่แก่พวกเจ้า และใส่วิญญาณใหม่ไว้ภายใน เราจะเอาใจหินออกจากร่างของพวกเจ้า แล้วให้ใจเนื้อ
26A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.
27เราจะใส่พระวิญญาณของเราไว้ภายในพวกเจ้า และทำให้พวกเจ้าดำเนินตามข้อกำหนดของเรา รักษาคำตัดสินและปฏิบัติตาม
27And I will put My spirit within you, and cause you to walk in My statutes, and ye shall keep Mine ordinances, and do them.
28พวกเจ้าจะอาศัยอยู่ในแผ่นดินที่เราให้แก่บรรพบุรุษ จะเป็นประชาชนของเรา และเราจะเป็นพระเจ้าของพวกเจ้า
28And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be My people, and I will be your God.
29เราจะช่วยพวกเจ้าให้พ้นจากความเป็นมลทินทั้งหมด เราจะเรียกข้าวมาและทำให้เพิ่มพูน ไม่ให้ความอดอยากเกิดแก่พวกเจ้า
29And I will save you from all your uncleannesses; and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.
30เราจะทำให้ผลไม้และผลผลิตในทุ่งเพิ่มพูน เพื่อพวกเจ้าจะไม่ต้องแบกรับความอับอายเรื่องความอดอยากท่ามกลางประชาชาติอีก
30And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye may receive no more the reproach of famine among the nations.
31“‘“แล้วพวกเจ้าจะระลึกถึงทางชั่วและการกระทำที่ไม่ดีของตน และจะรังเกียจตัวเองเพราะความผิดและสิ่งน่ารังเกียจทั้งปวง
31Then shall ye remember your evil ways, and your doings that were not good; and ye shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.
32เราไม่ได้ทำสิ่งนี้เพื่อเห็นแก่พวกเจ้า” พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระยาห์เวห์ตรัส “จงรู้ไว้ ชนอิสราเอลเอ๋ย จงละอายและอับอายเพราะทางของพวกเจ้า”
32Not for your sake do I this, saith the Lord GOD, be it known unto you; be ashamed and confounded for your ways, O house of Israel.
33“‘พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสดังนี้ “ในวันที่เราชำระพวกเจ้าให้พ้นจากความผิดทั้งหมด เราจะให้เมืองต่าง ๆ มีคนอาศัย และซากร้างถูกสร้างขึ้นใหม่
33Thus saith the Lord GOD: In the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be inhabited, and the waste places shall be builded.
34แผ่นดินที่เคยร้างจะถูกไถ แทนที่จะร้างอยู่ต่อหน้าทุกคนที่ผ่านไป
34And the land that was desolate shall be tilled, whereas it was a desolation in the sight of all that passed by.
35คนจะพูดว่า ‘แผ่นดินที่เคยร้างเปล่านี้กลายเป็นเหมือนสวนเอเดน เมืองที่เคยพัง ร้าง และถูกทำลาย กลับมีป้อมและมีคนอาศัย’
35And they shall say: This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are fortified and inhabited.
36แล้วประชาชาติที่เหลืออยู่รอบพวกเจ้าจะรู้ว่าเรา พระยาห์เวห์ เป็นผู้สร้างที่พังขึ้นใหม่และปลูกสิ่งที่เคยร้าง เรา พระยาห์เวห์ ได้พูดไว้และจะทำ”
36Then the nations that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD have builded the ruined places, and planted that which was desolate; I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it.
37“‘พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสดังนี้ “เราจะยอมให้ชนอิสราเอลมาถามเราเรื่องนี้ เพื่อเราจะทำให้แก่พวกเขา คือเพิ่มผู้คนให้มากเหมือนฝูงแกะ
37Thus saith the Lord GOD: I will yet for this be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.
38เหมือนฝูงสัตว์สำหรับถวายบูชา เหมือนฝูงสัตว์ในเยรูซาเล็มช่วงเทศกาล เมืองที่เคยร้างจะเต็มด้วยฝูงมนุษย์ แล้วพวกเขาจะรู้ว่าเราคือพระยาห์เวห์”’”
38As the flock for sacrifice, as the flock of Jerusalem in her appointed seasons, so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men; and they shall know that I am the LORD.'
