1พระยาห์เวห์ พระเจ้าผู้ทรงแก้แค้น พระเจ้าผู้ทรงแก้แค้น โปรดฉายแสงออกมา
1O LORD, Thou God to whom vengeance belongeth, Thou God to whom vengeance belongeth, shine forth.
2โปรดลุกขึ้น ผู้พิพากษาแห่งแผ่นดิน โปรดตอบแทนคนหยิ่งตามที่พวกเขาสมควรได้รับ
2Lift up Thyself, Thou Judge of the earth; render to the proud their recompense.
3พระยาห์เวห์ อีกนานแค่ไหนที่คนชั่ว อีกนานแค่ไหนที่คนชั่วจะได้ชัย?
3LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked exult?
4พวกเขาพ่นถ้อยคำโอหังออกมา คนทำชั่วทุกคนอวดตัว
4They gush out, they speak arrogancy; all the workers of iniquity bear themselves loftily.
5พระยาห์เวห์ พวกเขาบดขยี้ประชากรของพระองค์ และกดขี่มรดกของพระองค์
5They crush Thy people, O LORD, and afflict Thy heritage.
6พวกเขาฆ่าหญิงม่ายและคนต่างถิ่น และสังหารเด็กกำพร้า
6They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.
7พวกเขาพูดว่า “พระยาห์เวห์ ไม่เห็นหรอก พระเจ้าของยาโคบไม่สนใจ”
7And they say: 'The LORD will not see, neither will the God of Jacob give heed.'
8คนไร้สติปัญญาในหมู่ประชาชนเอ๋ย จงคิดดู คนโง่เอ๋ย เมื่อไรพวกเจ้าจะฉลาด?
8Consider, ye brutish among the people; and ye fools, when will ye understand?
9ผู้ที่สร้างหูไว้ จะไม่ได้ยินหรือ? ผู้ที่สร้างตา จะมองไม่เห็นหรือ?
9He that planted the ear, shall He not hear? He that formed the eye, shall He not see?
10ผู้ที่ตีสอนประชาชาติ จะไม่ลงโทษหรือ? ผู้ที่สอนมนุษย์ย่อมรู้
10He that instructeth nations, shall not He correct? even He that teacheth man knowledge?
11พระยาห์เวห์รู้ความคิดของมนุษย์ ว่ามันว่างเปล่า
11The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
12คนที่พระองค์ตีสอนช่างเป็นสุข พระยาห์เวห์ คนที่พระองค์สอนจากบทบัญญัติ
12Happy is the man whom Thou instructest, O LORD, and teachest out of Thy law;
13เพื่อให้เขาได้พักจากวันแห่งความทุกข์ จนกว่าจะขุดหลุมไว้สำหรับคนชั่ว
13That Thou mayest give him rest from the days of evil, until the pit be digged for the wicked.
14เพราะพระยาห์เวห์จะไม่ปฏิเสธประชากรของพระองค์ และจะไม่ทอดทิ้งมรดกของพระองค์
14For the LORD will not cast off His people, neither will He forsake His inheritance.
15เพราะการพิพากษาจะกลับมาตั้งอยู่บนความเที่ยงธรรม คนใจตรงทั้งหลายจะเดินตามทางนั้น
15For right shall return unto justice, and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
16ใครจะลุกขึ้นช่วยฉันต่อสู้คนชั่ว? ใครจะยืนข้างฉันต่อสู้คนทำชั่ว?
16Who will rise up for me against the evil-doers? Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
17ถ้าพระยาห์เวห์ไม่ช่วยฉัน ฉันคงต้องไปอยู่ในความเงียบแล้ว
17Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had soon dwelt in silence.
18เมื่อฉันพูดว่า “เท้าฉันกำลังลื่น!” ความรักมั่นคงของพระองค์ พระยาห์เวห์ ประคองฉันไว้
18If I say: 'My foot slippeth', Thy mercy, O LORD, holdeth me up.
19เมื่อความคิดมากมายรุมเร้าอยู่ในใจ การปลอบโยนของพระองค์ทำให้ฉันชื่นบาน
19When my cares are many within me, Thy comforts delight my soul.
20บัลลังก์แห่งความชั่วจะอยู่ฝ่ายเดียวกับพระองค์ได้หรือ บัลลังก์ที่สร้างความเดือดร้อนด้วยการออกกฎ?
20Shall the seat of wickedness have fellowship with Thee, which frameth mischief by statute?
21พวกเขารวมตัวกันเพื่อเอาชีวิตคนเที่ยงธรรม และตัดสินให้คนบริสุทธิ์ต้องตาย
21They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn innocent blood.
22แต่พระยาห์เวห์เป็นหอคอยสูงของฉัน พระเจ้าของฉันเป็นศิลาที่ฉันลี้ภัย
22But the LORD hath been my high tower, and my God the rock of my refuge.
23พระองค์ทำให้ความชั่วช้าของพวกเขากลับมาตกบนตัวเอง และจะตัดพวกเขาออกเพราะความชั่วของตน พระยาห์เวห์ พระเจ้าของเรา จะตัดพวกเขาออก
23And He hath brought upon them their own iniquity, and will cut them off in their own evil; the LORD our God will cut them off.
