1พระเจ้าอยู่เหนือที่ประชุมใหญ่ พระองค์พิพากษาท่ามกลางเหล่าเทพเจ้า
1A Psalm of Asaph. God standeth in the congregation of God; in the midst of the judges He judgeth:
2“พวกเจ้าจะพิพากษาอย่างอยุติธรรมไปอีกนานแค่ไหน และจะเข้าข้างคนชั่วไปอีกนานเท่าไร?” เซลาห์
2'How long will ye judge unjustly, and respect the persons of the wicked? Selah
3“จงปกป้องคนอ่อนแอ คนยากจน และเด็กกำพร้า จงรักษาสิทธิของคนยากไร้และผู้ถูกกดขี่
3Judge the poor and fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and destitute.
4จงช่วยคนอ่อนแอและคนขัดสน ช่วยพวกเขาให้พ้นจากมือคนชั่ว”
4Rescue the poor and needy; deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.
5พวกเขาไม่รู้และไม่เข้าใจ เดินวนไปมาในความมืด รากฐานทั้งสิ้นของแผ่นดินโลกสั่นคลอน
5They know not, neither do they understand; they go about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are moved.
6เราเคยกล่าวว่า “พวกเจ้าคือเทพเจ้า พวกเจ้าทุกคนเป็นบุตรขององค์ผู้สูงสุด
6I said: Ye are godlike beings, and all of you sons of the Most High.
7แต่พวกเจ้าจะตายเหมือนมนุษย์ และล้มลงเหมือนผู้ปกครองคนหนึ่ง”
7Nevertheless ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.'
8พระเจ้า โปรดลุกขึ้นพิพากษาแผ่นดินโลก เพราะชนชาติทั้งปวงเป็นมรดกของพระองค์
8Arise, O God, judge the earth; for Thou shalt possess all nations.
