1神よ、私の正しさを証明し、神を敬わない国に対して私の訴えを弁護してください。 ああ、欺く者と悪しき者から私を救い出してください。
1Be Thou my judge, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation; O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.
2あなたは私の力の神である。なぜ私を拒まれたのか。 なぜ私は敵の抑圧のために、嘆きながら歩かなければならないのか。
2For Thou art the God of my strength; why hast Thou cast me off? Why go I mourning under the oppression of the enemy?
3ああ、あなたの光と真理を送り出してください。 それらが私を導き、 あなたの聖なる山へ、 あなたの幕屋へと連れて行きますように。
3O send out Thy light and Thy truth; let them lead me; let them bring me unto Thy holy mountain, and to Thy dwelling-places.
4そうすれば、私は神の祭壇へ、 私のあふれる喜びである神のもとへ行く。 神、私の神よ。私は竪琴に合わせてあなたを賛美する。
4Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God, my exceeding joy; and praise Thee upon the harp, O God, my God.
5わが魂よ、なぜおまえは絶望しているのか。 なぜ私の内で思い乱れているのか。 神に希望を置け。 私はなおも神を賛美する。 私の救い主、私の助け主、私の神を。
5Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why moanest thou within me? Hope thou in God; for I shall yet praise Him, the salvation of my countenance, and my God.
