1神よ、私たちはあなたに感謝をささげる。 あなたの御名は近い。私たちは感謝をささげる。 人々はあなたの驚くべき御業について語り伝える。
1(75-1) For the Leader; Al-tashheth. A Psalm of Asaph, a Song. (75-2) We give thanks unto Thee, O God, we give thanks, and Thy name is near; men tell of Thy wondrous works.
2「わたしが定められた時を選ぶとき、 わたしは公正に裁く。
2(75-3) 'When I take the appointed time, I Myself will judge with equity.
3地とそのすべての住人が震えるとき、 わたしはその柱を堅く支える。」 セラ。
3(75-4) When the earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved, I Myself establish the pillars of it.' Selah
4わたしは傲慢な者たちに言った。「誇るな」と。 悪者たちには言った。「角を上げるな。
4(75-5) I say unto the arrogant: 'Deal not arrogantly'; and to the wicked: 'Lift not up the horn.'
5あなたがたの角を高く上げるな。 首を高くして語るな」と。
5(75-6) Lift not up your horn on high; speak not insolence with a haughty neck.
6人を高く上げることは、東からでも西からでもなく、 南から来るものでもない。
6(75-7) For neither from the east, nor from the west, nor yet from the wilderness, cometh lifting up.
7しかし神が裁き主である。 神はある者を低くし、別の者を高く上げられる。
7(75-8) For God is judge; He putteth down one, and lifteth up another.
8主の手には杯があり、 香料を混ぜた泡立つぶどう酒で満ちているからだ。 神はそれを注ぎ出される。 まことに、地の悪者は皆、そのかすまで飲み干す。
8(75-9) For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, with foaming wine, full of mixture, and He poureth out of the same; surely the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall drain them, and drink them.
9しかし私は永遠にこれを告げ知らせる。 私はヤコブの神にほめ歌を歌う。
9(75-10) But as for me, I will declare for ever, I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
10私は悪者のすべての角を切り落とすが、 義人の角は高く上げられる。
10(75-11) All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be lifted up.
