1人々が私に「主の家へ行こう」と言ったとき、 私は喜んだ。
1A Song of Ascents; of David. I rejoiced when they said unto me: 'Let us go unto the house of the LORD.'
2エルサレムよ、私たちの足はあなたの門の内に立っている。
2Our feet are standing within thy gates, O Jerusalem;
3エルサレムは、一つに固く組み合わされた都として建てられている。
3Jerusalem, that art builded as a city that is compact together;
4そこへ諸部族、主の部族が上って行く。 イスラエルに与えられたおきてに従い、 主の御名に感謝するために。
4Whither the tribes went up, even the tribes of the LORD, as a testimony unto Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.
5そこには裁きのための王座が、 ダビデの家の王座が据えられている。
5For there were set thrones for judgment, the thrones of the house of David.
6エルサレムの平和を祈れ。 「あなたを愛する者たちが栄えるように。
6Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; may they prosper that love thee.
7あなたの城壁の内に平和があり、 あなたの宮殿の内に繁栄があるように。」
7Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.
8私の兄弟と友のために、 今、私は言おう。「あなたの内に平和があるように」と。
8For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say: 'Peace be within thee.'
9私たちの神、主の家のために、 私はあなたの幸いを求めよう。
9For the sake of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.
