1Louez l’Éternel! Serviteurs de l’Éternel, louez, Louez le nom de l’Éternel!
1Hallelujah. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD.
2Que le nom de l’Éternel soit béni, Dès maintenant et à jamais!
2Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for ever.
3Du lever du soleil jusqu’à son couchant, Que le nom de l’Éternel soit célébré!
3From the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof the LORD'S name is to be praised.
4L’Éternel est élevé au-dessus de toutes les nations, Sa gloire est au-dessus des cieux.
4The LORD is high above all nations, His glory is above the heavens.
5Qui est semblable à l’Éternel, notre Dieu? Il a sa demeure en haut;
5Who is like unto the LORD our God, that is enthroned on high,
6Il abaisse les regards Sur les cieux et sur la terre.
6That looketh down low upon heaven and upon the earth?
7De la poussière il retire le pauvre, Du fumier il relève l’indigent,
7Who raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the needy out of the dunghill;
8Pour les faire asseoir avec les grands, Avec les grands de son peuple.
8That He may set him with princes, even with the princes of His people.
9Il donne une maison à celle qui était stérile, Il en fait une mère joyeuse au milieu de ses enfants. Louez l’Éternel!
9Who maketh the barren woman to dwell in her house as a joyful mother of children. Hallelujah.
