1Louez l’Éternel, car il est bon, Car sa miséricorde dure à toujours!
1'O give thanks unto the LORD, for He is good, for His mercy endureth for ever.'
2Qu’Israël dise: Car sa miséricorde dure à toujours!
2So let Israel now say, for His mercy endureth for ever,
3Que la maison d’Aaron dise: Car sa miséricorde dure à toujours!
3So let the house of Aaron now say, for His mercy endureth for ever.
4Que ceux qui craignent l’Éternel disent: Car sa miséricorde dure à toujours!
4So let them now that fear the LORD say, for His mercy endureth for ever.
5Du sein de la détresse j’ai invoqué l’Éternel: L’Éternel m’a exaucé, m’a mis au large.
5Out of my straits I called upon the LORD; He answered me with great enlargement.
6L’Éternel est pour moi, je ne crains rien: Que peuvent me faire des hommes?
6The LORD is for me; I will not fear; what can man do unto me?
7L’Éternel est mon secours, Et je me réjouis à la vue de mes ennemis.
7The LORD is for me as my helper; and I shall gaze upon them that hate me.
8Mieux vaut chercher un refuge en l’Éternel Que de se confier à l’homme;
8It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man.
9Mieux vaut chercher un refuge en l’Éternel Que de se confier aux grands.
9It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes.
10Toutes les nations m’environnaient: Au nom de l’Éternel, je les taille en pièces.
10All nations compass me about; verily, in the name of the LORD I will cut them off.
11Elles m’environnaient, m’enveloppaient: Au nom de l’Éternel, je les taille en pièces.
11They compass me about, yea, they compass me about; verily, in the name of the LORD I will cut them off.
12Elles m’environnaient comme des abeilles; Elles s’éteignent comme un feu d’épines; Au nom de l’Éternel, je les taille en pièces.
12They compass me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns; verily, in the name of the LORD I will cut them off.
13Tu me poussais pour me faire tomber; Mais l’Éternel m’a secouru.
13Thou didst thrust sore at me that I might fall; but the LORD helped me.
14L’Éternel est ma force et le sujet de mes louanges; C’est lui qui m’a sauvé.
14The LORD is my strength and song; and He is become my salvation.
15Des cris de triomphe et de salut s’élèvent dans les tentes des justes: La droite de l’Éternel manifeste sa puissance!
15The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous; the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
16La droite de l’Éternel est élevée! La droite de l’Éternel manifeste sa puissance!
16The right hand of the LORD is exalted; the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
17Je ne mourrai pas, je vivrai, Et je raconterai les œuvres de l’Éternel.
17I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.
18L’Éternel m’a châtié, Mais il ne m’a pas livré à la mort.
18The LORD hath chastened me sore; but He hath not given me over unto death.
19Ouvrez-moi les portes de la justice: J’entrerai, je louerai l’Éternel.
19Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will enter into them, I will give thanks unto the LORD.
20Voici la porte de l’Éternel: C’est par elle qu’entrent les justes.
20This is the gate of the LORD; the righteous shall enter into it.
21Je te loue, parce que tu m’as exaucé, Parce que tu m’as sauvé.
21I will give thanks unto Thee, for Thou hast answered me, and art become my salvation.
22La pierre qu’ont rejetée ceux qui bâtissaient Est devenue la principale de l’angle.
22The stone which the builders rejected is become the chief corner-stone.
23C’est de l’Éternel que cela est venu: C’est un prodige à nos yeux.
23This is the LORD'S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
24C’est ici la journée que l’Éternel a faite: Qu’elle soit pour nous un sujet d’allégresse et de joie!
24This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
25O Éternel, accorde le salut! O Éternel, donne la prospérité!
25We beseech Thee, O LORD, save now! We beseech Thee, O LORD, make us now to prosper!
26Béni soit celui qui vient au nom de l’Éternel! Nous vous bénissons de la maison de l’Éternel.
26Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD; we bless you out of the house of the LORD.
27L’Éternel est Dieu, et il nous éclaire. Attachez la victime avec des liens, Amenez-la jusqu’aux cornes de l’autel!
27The LORD is God, and hath given us light; order the festival procession with boughs, even unto the horns of the altar.
28Tu es mon Dieu, et je te louerai; Mon Dieu! Je t’exalterai.
28Thou art my God, and I will give thanks unto Thee; Thou art my God, I will exalt Thee.
